MMM.........I love Home Depot.

That place has everything. One just opened here. We all go in and design our kitchens and stuff. They have counter tops that are sparkly!!!!! How fricking cool is that??!

I just realized that our city has nothing better for its youth to do than go explore the new Home Depot. Seriously, we talk about it in school. Thats fricking sad.
And yet.......that place is so cool :D 8-)

OLP in HD=Good, but OLP on Muzak=BAD

OLP plays everyday on the Muzak at work which is at Genovese. It is very painful to hear OLP then Destinys Child right after it.

They played "One Man Army" and "Thief" on the TV network at King's Island. In the same day. I was in a state of shock...

We're getting a Home Depot here. We have hardly any clothing stores, no music stores, we have to drive to Erie to go shopping, but we are getting a Home Depot. Praise the Lord, Meadville is moving up in the world.

Just becuase they play it in stores doesn't mean it's been muzakified. They just played the song. It's only muzakified if it's been redone with only a quiet keyboard doing simple riffs, and someone else singing the lyrics with no emotion...

And though the hum and sway gets me down

Is it just me, or does Home Depot smell really good? Whenever I walk in there I take a big whiff of the scent of new wood, plastic and paint. People think I'm crazy for sniffing like this, but it's true.

I really really hate Abercrombie and Fitch, but that store smells SO good. I got the perfume for xmas just because I wanted to smell like the store (and I did!). Bath and Body works smells really really good too... but I get a headache after a while...

Every Gadzooks I have ever been in smells really bad. One in Ohio is so bad I can only be in there for five minutes before getting light headed...

Yea, but it adds to the aroma, giving it a slightly fume-y accent.

No matter what people tell you, remember that huffing gas and sniffing paint is always good fun for an evening.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Me, at a Drug User Anonymous meeting:

I have a problem. I enjoy getting high from the smell of power tools and freshly cut lumber. This has escalated to the point where I need paint to soothe my cravings. This had ruined my entire life, and destructed relationships with my family. I recently painted the whole exterior of our house with coloured polka-dots, and built an addition in the back. Someone help me, please. I can't function properly anymore with out stepping into Home Depot.

Hardware stores in general smell awesome. I like the smell of garages, too.

They play Our Lady Peace, plus a lot of really surprisingly excellent music, at my gym. You'd think they'd just play rap because of the beat.

I like the smell of wet cement. but that's neither here nor there.

I've never heard OLP in a store. I did hear Britney Spears being played over the loudspeaker at a truck stop while I was refueling my Pete. blech.

I hate Home Depot.

Every staff member is in their own little bubble with no knowledge of the world outside.

"Can you direct me to the paint section?"

"I cut keys. I'm not aloud to mix with those people."
