Where is Steve from Again?

Hey, does anybody know where Steve is from?

Yeah, I know he's from the Detroit area, but when I listened to a promo that he and Jeremy recorded when they were in town for the Bayfest show, he refured to himself as the "local boy" so now I want to know just how local is he?

He's from the Port Huron area, Richmond, to be exact. :nod:

Someone on here said a while ago that they looked up steve in the phone book... can't remember who it was.

I think Steve was born in the Detroit area, or where ever in Michigan, but he resides(when not on the Road with OLP) in LA. He told me he was playing in an LA band when he heard they needed a guitar player from a mutual friend he played with.

OK, I always thought when Steve said "the Detroit area" he ment one of the suburbs of the city since I've never heard of Richmond and, therefore, not nessiarily local in the sense that towns like Marysville, Marine City and Port Huron are pretty local, despite the international boundary that separates us.

But I looked it up on the map last night while I was dogsitting my aunt's dogs last night and, uh, yeah...that is kinda local...mindbogglingly local... :wtf:
