I bought myself a new toy today: a home theatre system... for my tiny bedroom. I used to watch DVDs on my computer. This is much MUCH better! My Listener Supported DVD makes me feel like I'm there.

Those Dolby people are brilliant. Surround sound is where it's at - even listening to the radio!

Between a new semester of textbooks and this little back-to-school gift for myself I've spent a good $1500 in 3 days. Good times.

Today's Thing:

I have to leave for work soon. I really don't want to work. And I mean REALLY don't want to work. However, after I've been there for an hour or two, I'll wonder why I didn't want to work. I hope.

 work.

Work is evil.

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

My TV broke a few months ago. I was going to ask for another one for my birthday, but I convinced my dad that I would need it after my surgery to occupy me and to get it as an early b-day present. He agreed.......go me.

I just ate two pints of blackberries in about 5 minutes. Ack......they're so good, but now my stomach hurts, lol.

And last night I went to a slumber party. Honostly, think about how long its been since you went to a real slumber party. It's been like 4 or 5 years for me..........amazing. We got a Vermonster (much much ice cream.......mmmmm) and watched Super Troopers and The Mothman Prophecies. That movie is freaky as hell.........but it was really good. So..........basically, slumber parites can be great....we shouldn't stop them as we get older.

I'm going to buy the Apex Theory cd today. Yay.

dont worry, after you lose your mind nothing seems slowly or painfully do to the fact that you have no mind.

Today's thing:

Work sucked, but it was all worth it...:

I switched the radio at work to K-Rock, and heard the end of a song, then this:
"You're listening to Kingston's K-Rock. That was ________, and coming up next, it's OLP!"
Me: (thinking) YES! IT'S GONNA BE INNOCENT! I'M FINALLY GOING TO HEAR INNOCENT ON THE RADIO! WOO!
Then I hear the destinctive buzz of SOT.
Me: DAMNIT! WHY CAN'T IT BE INNOCENT?!?
The radio stayed on K-Rock for the rest of the day.
Then, while I was at the back, I heard...
"...us" ... "...asement" "...bain and"
Me: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Runs to the front of the bakery (where the radio is)
And that's how I finally heard Innocent on the radio.

The last time I heard it was on the day Raine died. Everyone is at homecoming in their pretty little dresses with their pretty little boyfriends. Except for me. I was supposed to go see Signs with some friends, but we're tired as hell. My friend and I stayed up and watched Billy Madison. That reminds me, who had the sig with the Miles Davis pun? That was great.
[glow=red]WHOOPA![/glow]

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.
