Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

With highly descriptive, image-filled lyrics, Neptune Crush's songs convey meaning in a subtle, almost imperceptible way. Insight is there even before the mind can find a concept to label it with. "We try to create an image with the music for the listener to interpret," Elijah explains. The result is celestial poetry that, while having no one set story, is able to speak volumes to those who listen. The depth of the music is evidenced by the comparisons that listeners have made: New York Dolls, Stabbing Westward, Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd, Flaming Lips, Monster Magnet, Jane’s Addiction, T. Rex, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, and The Sex Pistols.
