Just herd the announcement this afternoon on 89X!
I am pumped for this.

How big is State Theatre compared to St. Andrews Hall? (i.e. how good chance will I have of getting tix thru ticketbastard?)

State Theater is on Woodward right? Right down form Hockeytown Cafe, Comerica park etc. etc.?

Did I mention I'm pumped??

Later,
Brian Wright
Tiffin, Ohio

1st concert - St. Andrews Hall (Stood in line for 9 hours that day)
2nd - Meet & Greet at Toledo concert (Signed pass SWEEEET)
3rd - Dayton (good pshyc up for ...)
4th - 89X Birthday bash (WOW)
5th - Could anything else top OLP in Detroit? (How about the fact it'll be on a DVD. I can see it now "Yea, that's me there in the 4th row")

Hey Brian, I probably saw you at St. Andrews. I was right up at the front of the line with my ex at the time. State Theater is much larger than St. Andrews, so just go online at 10 and make sure to get those tickets. It is on Woodward too, just to let ya know.

And you know what live DVD means, right? Rare songs getting played. And when Alan thinks rare, he thinks BLISTER. It could get played people, and I would die. I swear, I would just flip out. Ahhhh OLP.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Woo! Seriously though, I've never been to St. Andrews, but State Theater is so frickin small, when I saw GGD there I could literally grab Johnny's ass if I wanted to.

Oh and my mom said she'd call me off that day and buy me tickets, woah. How cool is that.

So excited ... so excited.

I just dropped a major extracurricular activity so that I can buy tickets on Saturday...how bad is that.

Well, I had other reasons why I dropped it, but still...

St. Andrews Hall show

Post by Kicker774 »

OLPFan420 - Were you right by the steps? Or lined up by the building a bit further back? I was at the corner of the steps most the day.
Got shoved back a bit in the mix torwards opening.

You may remember me I was the guy who threw up and everyone pointed and laughed at me. (A sharp inhale of the combined exhale of a cigar smoker and a guy drinking next to me in a crowded and cramped space wasn't a good mix :) )

Anyone know the specifics on crowd capacity at the State Theater? St. Andrews hall was only like 1000 or so. I thought the place was pretty packed untill I saw a video of an ICP Concert there and people were hanging form the rafters.

Any official CM CC TH CIA FBI BDSM etc. etc. meetup planned?

I think going to concerts the day before tests/exams helps you to do well. I've been to lots of concerts the day before tests/exams and i did awesome on all of them.

ok people...I'm offering a deal.

I NEED to go to this concert. BUT, I have a problem. I have NO ride, as of right now. So...I am willing to pay for your ticket if you bring me along to the concert. I wanna get home safely, though, and not at like 4 in the morning (I have a test at 8 am the next day). Come on, it's a free ticket!!! FREE! As in no money for the ticket! You know you wanna do this!!!

Hey Brian, I remember you! LOL you'll probably hate me for this, but on the way to St. Andrew's Hall my "friend" and I got lost, and got to the place really late. So her and I walked right up to the front of the line at like 7 and just talked to the guy in the front of the line, because I knew who he was. Well, I got in right away (after she had to buy her shirts, which cost us spots directly on the railing) and the rest is history.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
