idk, it just has to do with my general feelings about the cd as a whole, i think they're all amazing but when i think of olp and being an olp fan i'm most proud of them for the music they made on happiness and sm. i think that my order really reflects that: not necessarily the BEST album, but the one that makes me proudest to be an olp fan. geez am i making any sense or have we just hit the time of night when mental deterrioration begins to set in?
I don't know why, but I never got into Naveed, and I get sick of Clumsy after Hello Oskar...and the only reason I have Gravity higher is I can listen to that one straight through, which is tough for me to do.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
1. Clumsy
2. Naveed
3a. SM
3b. Gravity
5. Happiness........
SM and Gravity are really close, it switches every couple of days.
For whatever reason, i've never really gotten into Happiness... i'm not really sure why, but there are like 3-4 songs that i can bear to listen to on that album. That being said OMA is my favorite song ever.
wow all you canadian folk really like SM. It's an alright album and all, i can't say i dont like the concept thing considering i love Floyd and Radiohead, but it's just not a well rounded album. Happiness is just this insane mood of beautiful writing and emotion, and it's done with simpliity and softness. I'll be honest when i first got it, i thought many of the songs sounded the same but i've grown to love it ALOT. As for Naveed Its the same thing as happiness but just a more heavy version. I dunno, i could go on for hours here. Clumsy is where it all started and is almost everyones first album and is extremely solid, but i think whats talked about on happiness more people can relate to than clumsy (much deeper and more errie) anyway here is my list:
5. Clumsy(I only like about 1/2 of the songs).
4. Gravity
3. Naveed
2. Spiritual Machines
1. Happiness...
(Yes, I know what my sig says, but I don't feel like changing it.)

I know a lot of people will disagree with that.
mine is the exact same (usually.. sometimes it changes just a tad)
