My guess is they won't do old shows. This would be a good way to establish Steve as a member of the band. Sure, he's on the Gravity cover, but he doesn't play much on the album. With a live DVD, we'd all get to see him and hear him do his thing.

but without an older show the cd in my opinion wouldnt be that great. but im sure they would run into trouble with putting mike on the dvd. another reason why they shouldnt have broken up. now we are gonna have to have a dvd that shows the generic live setlist

Not necessarily. They do work on new songs ya know. They have to add Stealing Babies, Julia, Blister, and I am sure they have other songs they're working on to add to the set list. I mean they can't go out and play the same 19 songs each and every night, so just wait and see what happens.

Hopefully they'll have a video of them doing the Naveed/Life. That would be a kick-ass addition to the DVD, and show off some of Steve's awesome talents.

hmmm...
i'd also kind of like one of those "back stage" type things, where they talk about their thoughts of certain songs and all that cool stuff...
that would be awesome... a DVD with lots of features and stuff!!! LOL!

but i'd still like a live cd too... grrr!

i'd like to see
"a day in the life of..." and do all 4 guys
that would be cool

This DVD is a perfect way to close the Mike chapter .. personally I'd rather see only footage of Steve with the guys, not Mike. I've already got tons of interviews and performances with Mike .. it would be better to just focus on Steve and introduce him to the world. Instead of bringing up the past, focus on the present & future

As much as I love Mike, I agree with you. I want to grow to love Steve as well. Things like live recordings (Naveed/Life ) really help that. A DVD would be insanely good.

You know the band could do an entire live show, have them talk to the camera and look pretty, and show all the videos, so yeah. I mean, it's possible.

I'd love to have a live concert w/ steve on the dvd, and behind the scenes stuff, but i also hope they put on all their videos to date, for those of us who are deprived from seeing them in their full quality...I'm, personally, an .mpeg'er...i've got them all downloaded but that's just not the same...if they had all the videos on there...
