I wish that they'd come back to Detroit. I'd love to see DC in concert again. They were here on tour with Weezer on July 12th, and I went to the Toledo OLP concert that day. I'm not a big fan of Weezer, so I probably wouldn't have gone, even if the OLP concert wasn't on the same day.

yeah I like Weezer and I really wanted to go that concert, but OLP wins over anything. Did you see them in Grand Rapids the day after the 89X concert? I wanted to go, but didn't :(

lol. I forgot that you went to the Toledo concert.

and nope, I didn't see them in GR either, because back then, I didn't like DC as much as I do now. During the b-day bash, I only knew a few songs because my ex roommate was obsessed with the DC songs she got off the internet, and constantly played them during the month of December (she was missing her boyfriend, ) After the b-day bash, I dled a ton more songs and now I consider DC my 2nd favorite band.

the first time i heard "The Best Deception" i was blown away...i was like wow, this is sweet...it wasn't anything i've ever heard before. I went to buy their cd but all i found was the one EP...and they didn't have anything else.

So i wanna download some songs for now until i can find more cds...any suggestions?

Get "This Ruined Puzzle" "The Brilliant Dance" "Hands Down" "Ender will Save Us All" "Turpentine Chaser" "The Sharp Hint of New Tears" and "The Swiss Army Romance" Those should be a good start.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Standard Lines and Again I go Unnoticed are excellent choices in my books

another great song is Anyone, Anyone?
I d/l it the other day and it was pretty awesome
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Dashboard Confessional. lol. I was listening to dc before it was cool to be listening to dc. And like someone else said, I'm wearing a Dash shirt right now (i plan on sleeping in it). Dash is very different from the kind of music I usually like, but it's very nice music for when I am feeling melancholy.
Favorite songs = So Impossible; Age Six Racer; Anyone, Anyone; Plain morning.
I've seen Dash live twice: once with Ben Kweller (who is the most rockin' dude ever, I loooove him) and once with weezer. I'm gonna be seeing them a third time in sept.
Does it comfort you to know you fought the good fight?
don't look now, just keep watching the TV hating what's too see waiting for someone to say something that's right.

Eh, I still don't have any of their cd's yet... I'm an asshole and I'm ashamed.
My friends listened to him before DC was really played on tv and stuff, but I really haven't heard much of the music. My friend in Florida has a friend and Chris was her teacher or something... But other than that I haven't heard a whole lot.

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.
