Yeah, last time I saw OLP Raine jumped into the crowd, was smacking hands with the fans, was doing his famous spastic movements, did the birdman dance, but I guess that's a lack of energy. And no matter how much energy a band may seem to have, if you can't hear the lead singer saying anything, what's the point in listening? You can honestly hear the crowd more clearly than you could hear the lead singer, which shouldn't happen unless something like 4AM is being played.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I was just at the 8/13 show and Raine went freakin' nuts. He acts totally different on talk shows, but at concerts he still does the crazy stuff. I'm not sure if he did the birdman dance, and if he did I missed but but he did some other new spastic dance that was nuts...actually kinda funny, and he did all the hand motions, he climbed the balcony, jumped pretty far, crowd surfed(they dropped him once), and was all over the place. i don't know if my pictures prove much, but you can see that he at least went up on the balcony...he kinda ripped his clothes off a little too...but one thing is certainly for sure...he had TONS of energy.

On the Audiovent thing. I didn't really like their music that much. I mean, it was okay, but it didn't really stick to me. I can understand how it would stick to other people though, and I thought that their guitar player, Benjamin, was really good. I think they have talent and in the future I can see myself becoming a fan if their music matures to the level I think it will. So right now I'm not really a Audiovent fan, but I am a Benjamin the guitarist fan.

OLPfan420, have you listened to the CD?? Problably not. So just because you couldn't understand them in concert does not mean it necessarily has to do with the band, it has a lot to do with the sound guys. I saw then last month and they sounded great, vocals and all. Then I saw then last Saturday and I knew all the words but couldn't hear a damn thing because the sound guys didn't know how to mix. They were messed up for Greenwheel, too and didn't even do the best job for OLP. So before you bash a band because you couldn't understand what they were saying in concert actually take a listen to the CD.

P.S. anyone going to see AudioVent in KY?? I'm making the 6 hour trip to see them, I would like to meet up with anyone else that is going!!

I downloaded a few of their songs before the concert trying to like them, and guess what? Even though I did, they still suck to me, so how about you don't assume things that aren't true? And I was forced to listen to their cd before the Rochester show because of this one van that was blasting the music. They have good guitar, but I don't like them overall, ok?

I've heard that Raine does a lot on stage, but I have never seen it, especially recently. It probably is hard to move around a lot when you have your head lodged up Bob Rock's ass.

And I imagine this is why Metallica's tour for the Black album was their best.

I never really got into pogs. My brother and I did the whole Pokemon card thing, though, we got the game, but it was too hard to play. that pokemon snap game for n64 was pretty sweet though, you could make stickers and take pictures. That's about my skill level right there.

and back on topic. I've never heard Audiovent, but Jeremy said that it was good, so "if it's good enough for OLP, it's good enough for me"

That's my new phrase now, I like it

"If it's good enough for OLP, it's good enough for me"

That rhymes, right? Because the last time I thought something rhymed, it didn't. :P

Bethany, you sound mindless. "if it's good enough for OLP, it's good enough for me" makes you sound like you'd be great to watch TRL and love anything they play on there.

Banned pogs?

I loved pogs! I had a huge collection (I never played for keeps, because I was afraid of loosing something good). I even had a pog T-shirt! :P :freak:
