And then deal with smelly feet while they crowd surf, not so much

Well, maybe if they didn't have their shoes, they would stop crowd surfing and look for their shoes instead.

Instead of shoes, you can always try and take their wallet though.

Yeah, I know, I was overexaggerating.

I've never had a problem with security guards. They've always been nice to my friends and me, they gave us water, let me put some stuff b/n the guard rails and stage, been a messenger for me, etc.

I always make fun of the people who come to concerts wearing flipflops and then they wonder by the end of the night why they have no shoes :wtf:

here's my thought about Raine and crowd surfing

one thing I LOVE about Raine and Our Lady Peace is how easy it is to tell that they actually love and have emotional attachment to what they play and do. I mean, the emotions that Raine lets the audience see really makes the show worthwhile at times. It seems to me that in "One Man Army" Raine seems to let it all out. Before "Gravity" he would wrap the microphone cord around his throat 8O or he would be dancing around wild with energy...and then once "gravity" comes out, I guess he thought that he would go a little further :wtf: ...personally I get worried at times..but his jumping off almost makes me feel the electricity in the air...it's hard to explain

and come on, BIRDMAN! what an amazing amazing performance..the video is just genius
"You've got to keep it pure. You enter as a musician and if you're not careful, you end up as an entertainer." -Raine Maida

Amen biggreenmonkey...very well put. I agree about how the jumping off the balcony makes me nervous. Did you see that they actually dropped him. They initially caught him but then he disappeared into the crowd and didn't come back up. That's when I got nervous. And then they had to pry him out of the crowd, but he didn't seem mad about it at all. He actually seemed as though he enjoyed being mauled, like he was loving every second of it. That's something I like about OLP, they seem to love every second with their fans, and I know I've said that before and I'll say it again, but they're just so passionate about what they do and how they affect people. It's great to be a part of.
