I think they are freaking hilarious. They say things that are very cocky, but there is always an underlying sarcasm to it that is totally different when you HEAR the quotes opposed to READING them. I can see how people think they are too arogant, but I think they are HILARIOUS! I could listen to them talk about other bands and other music all day.

You wouldn't think it was hilarious if you paid $40-$50 for a ticket to see them and they walked off after 3 songs cuz Liam and Noel kept fighting and got pissed off :P That's happened before .. and sometimes Liam doesn't even show up for the concerts and poor Noel has to take over. I love the guys and the band but they are cocky bastards  who write amazing music

Do you live in England? Do you hear them on the radio and TV on what seems to be a daily basis? They are so unprofessional, allowing personal quarrels to interfere with their paying fans as clumsyfish has highlighted.

I've said it once and I'll say it again - they criticise Radiohead for fuck's sake!
picturize the nights and days you close the book and float away and somehow in between you gotta master lying to yourself you max your cards get out of school you get a job your job gets you and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else

Oasis's Taxi Driver Blamed For Accident That Sidelined Band Back

Oasis's taxi driver is being blamed for the car accident that injured guitarist Noel Gallgher, bassist Andy Bell, and keyboard player Jay Darlington on Tuesday (August 6).

According to statements from eyewitnesses to the accident, the Oasis band members' taxi hit another car in a collision, when driver Ghebriahiwet Foto ran a red light.

A statement issued by the Indianapolis Police Department said, "The cab driver was at fault for disregarding a signal and failure to yield right of way. He wasn't issued a citation at the scene."

The police also said that Foto will not be charged with any driving offense. Gallagher was bruised around his face and suffered whiplash and shock in the crash, while Bell and Darlington's injuries were less serious, though Darlington suffered hand injuries.

All three musicians were taken by ambulance to Wishard Memorial Hospital. Front seat passenger Gallagher was told by doctors to rest for three days. The band was forced to cancel a show in Indianapolis on Aug. 6 and concerts in Philadelphia and Boston.

Oasis is scheduled to start a three-night stand Monday (August 12) at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

I've heard them say Radiohead was boring, and to tell you the truth, I agree with that. Don't get me wrong, they have some GREAT songs, but a lot of there stuff puts me to sleep. You're acting like they are beyond criticism because you love them. I'm not saying Oasis are perfect angels, I just think there schtick is funny, that's all!

I would choose Oasis over Radiohead too .. I can't stand Radiohead, something about his voice and the sound just makes you want to throw yourself in front of a car :freak:

Oasis has been cocky and arrogant right from the start though so people should be used to it by now .. they haven't changed their attitudes and I doubt they will anytime soon. They haven't pissed me off yet but if they ever walk out of a concert when I'm there then I'll be mad :P

I've heard them say that Radiohead is a little over dramatic and moody.

I would agree. But that's why I like Radiohead.
