Coldplay's new album...

Post by teelow »

When does this come out?
I wanna download the songs and see if it is worth buying, (like I usually do) but when I did last night all of them but, Green eyes and In My place came with no music, just stubborn silence...

 Any thoughts?

they are playing here in Sept with ASH. I hope I cna go. Parachutes is one of my favorite CD's of 2000.

I know you're stuck inside your head
You're low, you better get use to it
And I know the feeling has to end
You're strong, it sucks you in again
And you're lost, you can't make any sense
This world it tears you limb from limb
Hold on, you're nothing but the best

I am SUCH a Coldplay fan. They rank up there with Travis so I can't wait til the next album comes out. They're concert tickets are freakin' hard to get. They're playing philly today, or yesterday, no bother because I tried to get tickets as soon as the PRESALE went on sale and I was already beat. Apparently they sold out in less than 15 minutes and because of the internet jam I didn't even get dibs. And those little punks aren't coming back to Philly so I'm screwed  Oh well, I can just listen to the CD and pretend I'm there

AROBTTH comes out August 26th. This will be the album of the year. Trust me.

I managed to get all the songs off the new album, minus "A whisper". I even got a live version of Yellow, which is reeeeal good!
I don't think it will be album of the year though, it has its moments, Green eyes, the scientist, but its probably not going to be bought by me.
It would be hard to top parachutes.

How about Politik? That's supposed to be the best Coldplay song ever.

I can't wait to hear the music, but I can't DL it here at home, so I have to actually wait til the album comes out. Hmmm....in addition to their entire last album I really like some of their other songs, that were from EP's. I love Such A Rush, Bigger Stronger, See You Soon, and Animals. Are any of those on the new album? Probably not, since they were all on EP's.

I'm still pissed at coldplay though, cause I couldn't get tickets to their philly concert. They're such a hot commodity...

I've got a live version of Amsterdam and it tops anything on Parachutes.

Can't see the similarity myself. He sounds much more like Thom Yorke to me.

It seems like a lot of artists these days are being compared to Dave Matthews, like John Mayer and Jack Johnson, ahh i heart Jack Johnson ..
