I love sharpie's. To me they aren't just a marker, but a special type of marker, that is permanent, and comes in fine and ultra fine, and is lovely....it doesn't smear....ahhh...how I love sharpie's.

And speaking as one who plays the instrument, I must say that he is, by far, one of the best bassists in the history of music. :D

No way, the best bassist has to be Geoff Lloyd.

I forgot what the other think.

I have to add my two cents here.

I think as a musican( Bassist) in this case. Duncan is amazing. I love watching him play. I think someone said he is almost animated on stage. I think he is so underrated. I told Duncan when I saw him last month if I was a singer making a record I want him to play Bass on it.

Not only is he a great player, but he is such a warm, down to earth indiviual. He is very friendly. No rock star trip for this guy.

That is one thing I love about Duncan. He is just a regular guy who you can talk to.

what this thread really needs is some photos. SO I will provide.

this is the only time I will ever post this photo. Duncan doing his best RHCP impersonation-

Might I say...it appears as though Duncan has been doing some lifting.

Anyways....geez...I heard the Northern Lights show was hot but holy moley, that's rediculous. I would have been dead long before that picture was taken. 8O

By the way, I've said it once, I'll say it again. Duncan rules

I am glad you guys like my DC photo. yeah it was HOT at that show. I am surprised none of them passed out. Especially Raine. Poor guy.

anyway since this is the DC thread I had to put this here. I was reading on R/S site and old interview with Duncan. They asked something like why would someone buy Clumsy over Spice world. he answered, but I thought this part of the answer was dead on. I know I bought some CD's adn you are like this is crap. I want my money back. That is why I wait for more then one song before I buy a cd now. Unless it is a favorite band, that is different.

Taken from Duncan interview in 1998.

Because I'm in a band doesn't mean I get free CD's, I go buy CD's lots, and it frustrates me when a band has a good single, and I go get the album, and maybe one other song is good and the rest is filler. I don't know if that comes from lack of work ethic or what, but there's a lot of bands that if I ever meet, I'd like to ask them for 15 or 13 of my $17 back.

WOW, you be lucky if you can get a CD for under $20.00 now. i wait till they are on sale.
