There's MB20 influence in there, too, definitely. Listen to "I Don't Believe," ClumsyraineOLP.

That guy rocks, but Steph, your avatar scares me....
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I recorded Greenwheel in Portland, OR on August 3rd, and I'm trying to figure out the song names now. I think I have all of them figured out except for one, but the recording's very low quality so I can't tell what most of the lyrics are. Are any of you really familiar with Greenwheel's songs? If so I can send an mp3 of this one song so I can figure out its name. After I get the name and cleaned up the recording as much as I can, I'll convert the show to mp3's to share with anyone who wants them. But be warned, it's a very low quality recording. I don't have good recording equipment yet.

Sorry to offend hardcore Greenwheel fans, but the singer does sound like Rob Thomas from matchbox 20. The music doesn't sound like them, but the singer sure does.

By the way, GREENWHEEL ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for not contacting you about the recording, this last week has been very busy, and this week will be, too. I'll convert the show to mp3's and try to leave AIM on while I'm away so you can grab them from me if you have time. I haven't worked on cleaning up the recording, so the quality's pretty crappy, but I don't think it could be fixed very much anyway.

All I ask in return is for you to share with other members of the CM, and to let me know the name of the song in the 5th track, if you recognize it.

First, Greenwheel sounds A LOT like MB20. When I first heard their song Shelter on the Spiderman Soundtrack I thought it WAS MB20.

My idea of them. Live they sound more similar to Fuel. Studio they sound more similar to MB20...........and all in all they are somewhere in between.
I like their live sound, and the singer gets into it, but not in a fake way. They are all really nice guys too.

About his OLP shirt, lol. In LA I saw some guy walk into the record store with an OLP Gravity shirt on. I was like "sweetness" and then I realized it was him, lol. I'm liking the OLP support here :)

I think in Portland, Oregon he was wearing a shirt that had "fuck" written on it, but in a pretty flowery old English sort of font so it was hard to tell that's what it was. It might have been another member of Greenwheel, I can't remember for sure which one it was . . .
