Live OLP album

Post by Joey »

I heard on the radio today (103.3 the EDGE) that OLP are 'talking' about coming out with a live album in the next 6-7 months .. the EDGE says they'll confirm that in the next few days

when they first went into the studio in hawaii wasnt it their intention to just record a couple songs to put on a live album?

There is a live album coming out, it was suppose to already be out but Gravity came instead, when they went to Hawaii to do Gravity there were only scheduled to do 2 or 3 new songs to be included on a live album but they did 10 instead and now we all have Gravity to enjoy, but a live album is coming.

VH1 mentioned something about this as well as the band when they played the WBCN River Rave here in MA in June.

I think they were originally going to record a few songs with Rock, then check out some other producers to finish the record. They were going to have an album with a bunch of different bigwig producers. Then they liked Rock enough to stay.

At least that's what I heard...

From olp.cc: ~ Regarding the live album they spoke about before the "Gravity" release, Raine said they have 3-4 tracks ready and they would be released this fall sometime as part of a package, or bonus tracks.

live album with the tracks they didn't put on gravity would be cool
they should do like the hip and make some sort of club like they have
the hip put a few unreleased songs and a live vid on their site for those who buy their new album

I don't know it this has anything to do with the Live CD or not. They are filming parts of the shows now for a DVD.

sweetness!!! now all I need is a DVD player.

Hey, at the Toledo concert, there was this dude with a video camera, he was wearing a cool baseball cap with little devil horns sticking out of the top. Is that the guy filming for the DVD? Just wondering.

the guy filming is one of their friends who did a few of their videos.,

it was funny because Jeremy said something to him aabout me and he filmed it. Plus another person I know got intervewed. That would be funny. Now people will really hate us.

I have to get a DVD player also.

I can't wait for the dvd... Although they probably won't sell it here. Aw who knows, I'd just ask the guy I met in FYE to special order it for me if they didn't have it

A live album would be awesome. Gravity really gave OLP a lot of new fans, and a live cd will definently open the eyes (or ears) of people who have never heard them prior to gravity. On the other hand, it'll also please us too, becuase OLP kicks ass live... but I'm assuming you know this.

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.

Of course they'd sell the DVD in the U.S

They seem very concerned with becoming more known in the U.S and their albums are sold over there so I'm sure the DVD will be too.

*note to self* Buy DVD player
