It would mean that they may release SM II around september? I hope that NFT doesn't has preference over traditional digital format, as well.

Steve on the tour's announcement for November/December said that he hopes that SM II will be around for that date, so I guess an October release date is still possible.

Such a shame that we haven't a date yet!

When they are released, they will be available on S!NG Marketplace (https://sing.market). You will be able to purchase the NFT (limited to x number of NFT's), and should be able to download audio to whatever device to listen. This is according to Raine the other day on the Discord chat.

January 22, 2022 is the official expected release date according to OLP's social media this morning.

Well, I certainly hope for October rather than January 2022. I really loved the recordings of Run and The Message, but did a bit of an eye roll when I saw the January date. It's really hard to stay enthused when it keeps dragging on and on. We first heard the clip of Future Disease in February this year (and there's not really that much more to the song after that chorus), and SMSPF was played in 2019. (Obv COVID has been a thing and disrupted everything), but seems strange to me that we know the tracklisting/album art this far in advance - is that normal with album making?

Will it be available on iTunes/Spotify in October? As much as I love the band, I refuse to support NFTs given how bad they are for the environment. I even asked Raine's thoughts on that via instagram comment and his reply was 'carbon footprint def an issue'. I was very disappointed that was his response. Have followed and loved them for well over a decade now, but don't like that they're going down this route.

Can they not offer digital downloads? I'd pay for them rather than generating these blockchain things.

I'm guessing the streaming platforms like Spotify will debut the album at the end of January, and the NFTs will be October/November.

You won't receive a confirmation email. The SMSPF NFT is free, with 10,000 units available according to what Raine said on Discord. That includes the single, demo, Billy Howerdel Remix, and artwork.

Ok. I’m quite confused. The album came out today, via NFT, correct? How do I obtain it if I wouldn’t get a message? Sorry. Just so confused by this all.
