Best Live Performances?
Re: Best Live Performances?
I love the Naveed/Kids and Naveed/Life mashups. Also anytime they perform One Many Army live.
If you believe in death, you're certain to die. If you believe in love, you're always alive.

Re: Best Live Performances?
I think my all time favorite live performance is their cover of Teardrop into Carnival. Raine's voice gives me chills every time i hear it.

Re: Best Live Performances?
Okay, I can't rival that list, but I'll offer up a few.
The Birdman (Live DVD)
In Repair (Live DVD)
Clumsy (Massey Hall Toronto 2005)
Wipe That Smile Off Your Face (Massey Hall)
Denied (Live 95)
4am (both the Live DVD and the Much Music Intimate & Interactive, for completely different reasons)
Teardrop/Carnival (Forget which show)
As for the live shows I've been to, the best was by far the Clumsy show in Vancouver in 2010. The crowd was completely insane, to the point where you couldn't hear Raine's vocals at times cause we were singing so loud (btw, if there's a recording of that floating around, I'd love to relive that).
Also Matt, are you sure about Made to Heal at SnowJob 2001 in Sun Peaks? I'd love to hear the best live recording of Made to Heal, I adore that song, but I've never heard it live.

Re: Best Live Performances?
Hmm, I guess I must have been thinking Middle of Yesterday. Made To Heal at Massey Hall in 2010 was pretty good. The Vancouver An Evening With shows were professionally recorded, and currently sit on a hard drive inside Trustworthy's closet. I tried to get him to turn loose of them, but no luck. The next time I see Duncan or Raine I'll ask them about it if I can remember.

Re: Best Live Performances?
It's a shame that the professional recordings for CM/SM Tour didn't see the light of the day...i asked on Twitter some time ago and they teased that Duncan had the recordings for something...but like often nothing happenedxjsb125 wrote:Hmm, I guess I must have been thinking Middle of Yesterday. I would pay to hear that music

As for best live perfomances i will made a list if i have time...however a lot from Matt would be on my list (of course i only listen the recording i wasn't at the show)...however one of my favourites perfomance it's If You Believe from Niagara Falls from 2011:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QO6WvoMPX3w (i believe there is also an audio recording floating around

It's better than any If You Believe played on CM/SM Tour (from what i heard)

Re: Best Live Performances?
Yeah, I remember talk back then about the shows being recorded, potentially for some kind of release, and then (shockingly) things never materialized. It's a shame too, cause the band was incredibly on point that night (at least for the Clumsy show, didn't get to check out the SM show).
