Joel Shearer kills it with OLP on this track at much music.
Is this as good as it gets? Is there any more recorded, live performances with him?
Soooo good!

Is there a better version of Supermans Dead?
Re: Is there a better version of Supermans Dead?
The extended outro to Superman's Dead was one of my favorite things about Joel playing with OLP. We are very fortunate that there were a ton of audio recordings from that tour. As for video:

Agreed...Joel took that song to another level. What's the up to these days? Anyone know?

Joel is still the ultimate journeyman guitar player. He pops up with different people on tours, and in the studio. He hasn't updated it in a while, but you can see what he's been up to since his time in OLP at joelshearer.comauolp wrote:Agreed...Joel took that song to another level. What's the up to these days? I haven't kept up with everything he's worked on, but he played several instruments and also shared "recorded by" credits on nearly every track on Damien Rice's latest album, My Favourite Faded Fantasy.auolp wrote:Agreed...Joel took that song to another level. Definitely a better version, great sound and Joel is awesome.
What an experience it must have been when Raine called the fans onstage. Steve gave me a guitar pick during one of their shows in Calgary but that had to have been incredible!
