Heavyweight is proof they can still make a rocker though, as are Steve's shining moments on Find Our Way.

I'm not really too concerned with how heavy they can get on the next album; I'm just hoping they retain the experimental mindset that made Curve so great.

Don't forget Rabbits guys...i think that it's one of most underrated songs by the guys...i really really love that song...it's a masterpiece!

You're right...however as for The Wolf i think that the guitar solo a rock moment it's a shame that we haven't a great falsetto scream before however what about the "new lyrics" of The Wolf? (there are a few differences between the lyrics that we have from the demo that i'm not able to understand) thanks in advance guys!

I'm glad they never released Wolf, because they definitely neutered it in the studio. They tend to do that with a lot of rock songs in the past 10 years. I don't know if they don't trust themselves, or what. Sure they've put out a few, but look at all the slowed down stuff we've gotten (AYDWSML) or rockers that were cut. It's disappointing.

There was an interview with Duncan before the Turtle Music Fest where he describes the newer material as more rock and roll driven. Of course this doesn't mean much. Can't seem to find the interview though, maybe it got removed after the cancellation.

I'd take it with a grain of salt though after the whole 'Burn Burn feels like Naveed' thing. Unfortunately all bands (whether great, good, or bad) will always hype up and be excited about their new material, because they tend to be inside an echo chamber while making the music.

I guess they've been working on the new album + reading for a tour. I'm not expecting a vault track anytime soon, but I do hope that they'll break out a new track during this tour.

I'm not surprised. In recent years, festivals have been greatest hits and not much else. Really, the only new/unreleased songs that had been played at festivals in the last 5 years have been The Wolf, and Summertime Sadness. I would think a better chance for the fall US tour, but I won't hold my breath.

I imagine the chances of it being The Fix are pretty low. I don't think that would be the best way to promote a new song.

Well i replied to the band account on Twitter telling that a double release with the Vault and the fix would be amazing.. And they add my tweet to favourites.. Of course it doesn't tell nothing but I think that we'll get the fix soon.. At least I wish :-)
