I like it! Solid track.

As much as I hated Saint Anger I really wish HIPT had stuck to the raw live recording format. After hearing the untouched Not Afraid, No warning and now this track, I really think they were on to something special.

Kind of ironic, that the off the floor recording project that was ment to surprize the fan base with a quick release turned into the most over thought and underwhelming album in the OLP catalog.

I think I enjoyed this a little more than the other Post Gravity vault releases. It had a bit more reminiscent of their earlier works, and the melody reminds me of some Raines solo stuff. Lyrically, it rehashes a lot of the themes that I'm hearing around the HIPT era.

Kinda reminds me of yellow ledbetter by pearljam for some reason.

This is one of the best releases yet. I'm really beginning to regret they didn't do the quick turnaround surprise album now. All the songs we have from that session (Save Yourself, No Warning, Not Afraid) sound fantastic and different. They are definitely more "regular" rock than Spiritual Machines, but they have a lot more edge than HIPT ended up having.

It's ironic that they went from making a surprise quick album to the monstrosity that was the over-produced HIPT.

This is a great track.

AMAZING!! I feel like it sounds like a melody that made it onto HIPT somewhere but that bridge is something else. It reminds me of the bridge on the LIVE cd of in repair. Super powerful. I think they should just stop releasing these b-sides now and do HIPT vol 2. I keep saying it but I can't understand how we got world on a string when these tracks were being made.

Just awesome track. So happy these are seeing light.

OLP seems to be great at making fresh new musical ideas quickly, but then overthinking everything and turning it into a mushy pile of normal. I want them to trust their initial instincts for once.

I understand now when they kept saying it was the best cd theyve ever made.

I admit that i was waiting your answer...however i really agree with you (also with the things from the other post below this)...i think that probably some times you're really critical about OLP (new OLP ) but i think that it's because you really like them and then you want the best from them...and i can say if this song its' good for you then it's an amazing OLP track!
However i agree also with @ivewaited i think that they should release another Healthy with all these amazing songs...i will instantly buy...and i'm really curious if we will see some of the dark songs that we don't know anything about it except for the fact that Duncan told that they won't see the light of the day.

I've come to the conclusion that "something special" just refers to anything released from the vault.

I think that if they are going to break up, they will let us know when they are ready.

Curve was recorded in parallel with We All get Lighter, and Raine & Chantal have toured and performed many times during the summer month's. We know they're recording. Plus, the vault releases themselves are more interaction than we typically get between albums. I wouldn't worry too much, we'll get an album in 2016.

I think the fact that Steve is taking part in the AM A tomorrow, plus they 're-grammed Duncan's messed up foot, and had a picture of Jason where they said more festival dates to come is a good indicator.

People have been foretelling the break up of OLP for ages and it hasn't happened. I personally think Won't Turn Back is about Jeremy's departure and the fact that Raine isn't going to pull the plug on the band.

Anybody doing the Q&A? I would like to find out if who this 'old friend' is and when and how many albums they plan to put out.

I tried to follow the Q&A but I couldn't find more than a couple of questions. And Trustworthy calling me out from a couple of years ago.
