Well guys if Don't Ask Why will be released (I think that if it won't be the next song it will be released in every case because it's teased) it's a good news because we can have also other versions of known songs (who told The Wolf? Hahaha).. But also this is an assumption!

I can hardly wait. I've been listening to the whole OLP catalog since we've got the first release. Such a magical band.
and if i don't make it know that i've loved you all along.

Sooner than I think would have been last week!

But I'm happy if we get something this week too. I was hoping for a weekly thing considering the number of unreleased tracks they have.

I hope they don't lose momentum with this and that it doesn't just fall to the wayside after a little while. I'm happy with whatever and whenever!

It's something in between the Juno performance and the beer CD version. I think the Juno version is still a superior one, but this is much better than the other studio version.

It's nice to have, but I was hoping for Don't Ask Why.

Really like this! Closer to the Juno performance than the beer CD. Always preferred the Juno performance version, so I like this.

I like the anecdote about playing this instead of Innocent!

This version is so much more raw and gritty. I love it.

The Juno version is amazing...but i think because the band really push the song in that live perfomance...however this version is also amazing and if for someone can be strange (or frustrating) to hear song that we already know (for now) i think instead that it's nice to see because the band wants to show the evolution that they made to the song and in this way they show to us the method of work with the various producers (in this case Bob Rock).
It's also nice to read the stories about the song (it's pretty strange and i don't know to see that the song was conceived in Europe :D ) and it's also curious what Steve said about Junos...now i wish that we will have another christmas gift by the band :D

I like this better than the single version I had heard before. Agree with the raw, grit and emotion comments.

I wonder if they're going to stick with Gravity era tracks due to Steve's input. These tracks are great, but i wanna hear that setto in full bloom!

I should also be clear that while this song wasn't what I was expecting, I am grateful for it. If the band or anyone associated with it reads this forum, thank you. I really hope we get Don't Ask Why and the other songs they've teased at so far. Really, I hope we end up getting 20 songs.

We have No Warning and Not Afraid but also Kiss on the Mouth and Better Than Here...in my opinion HiPT could have been so far better than the final version...damn can't wait to hear other deep tracks.

PS Waiting for Not Afraid lyrics also if they are pretty clear..but my english it's not really good!

Love this. I agree with everyone else, this is far superior to the final version. Awesome track.

Holy fuck, this Not Afraid demo is amazing. It's incredibly depressing how much they polished and "de-OLPized" this song throughout production.

Wow.

Basically it was Bob Rock'd. Imagine what some of these songs could have been with another producer.

Honestly....No Warning was okay. Raine sounded like he was singing underwater, but that's fine. A demo of a song we already heard is a waste of time. I want stuff we really want. Stuff that doesn't involve Bob Rock. Stuff they scrapped before they redid Curve. B-sides from early albums. If the next thing we get is a demo of Picture from HIPT, this list is going in the spam folder.

Obviously the hype for stuff like Trapeze is higher, but it'd be stupid to blow the most hyped tracks right at the beginning. They've already said they're coming. Be grateful we're getting anything and that they're even keeping up with it this frequently.

Also, they wrote a lot more songs in the Bob Rock era so clearly there's more to give there.

I'd actually like to hear an early version of Picture. However, I'm still holding on for Trapeze!

Anyway, digging this version! I never hated the finished but this is definitely superior. A lot more gritty, a lot more emotion, and I enjoy the lyrics more.

I really love the history they're giving for each track.
