OLP says "f you retail, we got black monday instead!"
Re: OLP says "f you retail, we got black monday instead!"
Hell yeah.. THIS IS AWESOME.. It sounds like OLP and what we've been waiting for the past couple albums.
I'm pumped now.
If this sounds like this can't imagine what else we are in store for.. It's going to be an awesome couple of next weeks...

The energy is just so...... AMAZING. Raine sounds so full of life.

Vocals definitely a bit rough but love Raines energy especially during the screaming parts great emotion, this is a real rocker! I wonder if we will get one tomorrow as well, i doubt it this is probably the one for this week. Overall this is awesome, but I do hope they are still working on new material as well

Here's my take on the lyrics, seem to be slightly different than either live version.
No Warning
Now in sight, the end of all
Your fall, life, coordination, you
?
And I believe it's true
It's real
No warning, no warning at all
No warning, no warning at all
?
You're kinda like a shelf on the wall
Looking for your bed
You're not staying there, you're not me anymore
Anymore
No warning, no warning at all
You'll get no warning, no warning at all
Kinda like the [boy we know?]
I'm sentimental
Where we know you feel you'll go
You're falling on me
No, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
You'll get no warning, no warning at all
You'll get no warning, no warning at all
You'll get no, no, no, no warning at all
You'll get no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
No Warning
Now in sight, the end of all
Your fall, life, coordination, you
?
And I believe it's true
It's real
No warning, no warning at all
No warning, no warning at all
?
You're kinda like a shelf on the wall
Looking for your bed
You're not staying there, you're not me anymore
Anymore
No warning, no warning at all
You'll get no warning, no warning at all
Kinda like the [boy we know?]
I'm sentimental
Where we know you feel you'll go
You're falling on me
No, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
You'll get no warning, no warning at all
You'll get no warning, no warning at all
You'll get no, no, no, no warning at all
You'll get no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

This is such an awesome thing for the guys to do
.
Oh and dunno if it's been mentioned or not but I'm hoping for an appearance of Talk Is Cheap from the HIPT sessions. Always thought it had so much potential..

Anyone know when Better Than Here was recorded? Something feels like they might've came from the same time period.

I don't believe we have any clues about exactly when Better Than Here was recorded. That one was completely unknown before it came out on A Decade. Whether or not they're from the same 2 week session, they were likely recorded in the same room with the same equipment live off the floor.

Love the music and the range of Raine plus the end. But there is a part of me that feels this will be it for a while. Raine said "We'll get to the rest eventually" and then the Facebook post said stay tuned for more in the future. The uncertainty is killing me and the words are so ... loaded.
"I'll never get over you."
Re: OLP says "f you retail, we got black monday instead!"
Anyone heard of "Anacin" before? Curious about that track!!
I think it'll be awhile before we get another tune.. but it was awesome to get this track.. I have a feeling they might get sidetracked with other things as usual.. but I'm hoping not.

Re: OLP says "f you retail, we got black monday instead!"
I'm good with just any HIPT b sides.. No warning, Kiss on the mouth and better than here are so raw and emotional. If those would have ended up on the record.. It would have been a total different animal.. Love when Raine is fierce.

Wonder what great material there is that we're not even aware of that we might hear. Personally I absolutely love both Kiss on the Mouth and Better Than Here and we never would've known about them without A Decade.
Re: OLP says "f you retail, we got black monday instead!"
However guys every time i listen to No Warning i have chills...damn Raine is really powerful...it seems that he wants to destroy all with its voice...and also the rest...especially drums...this is the band that we want and probably if we think to Kiss on the Mouth and Better Than Here like MindsOnLoan told i think that Healthy had a lot of potential if the tracks where this...can't wait to see if there is something that we don't know and the guys will release!

Re: OLP says "f you retail, we got black monday instead!"
About when Better Than Here was recorded, I'm guessing it was fairly early in the HIPT sessions. I remember someone from the band, I think it was Raine, saying that it was done when they were still considering recording the entire album live off the floor. They enjoyed the vibe of the song and that's why it was thrown on A Decade. So it was definitely HIPT-era and live off the floor... how early in the recording sessions it was though, I have no clue.

Wonder what and when they will release this week's track
