Afayc is my least favorite song on curv... it felt the most radio friendly and reminiscent of fight the good fight, which I also didn't care for . Not bad, just not my flavor. Was hoping this new album would be more in tune with rabbits and heavy weight...

Still, can't judge a book by it's cover (or am album by its single), especially when I haven't even heard it!

Well i can tell to you that at least for me AFAYC is better than Wont Turn Back (but i listen to this only 1 time) at least for me...you're right in fact i won't judge the new OLP until when i will hear the other songs! Josh recorded the song then i think that he's cutting the interview and the song and the he will post here! We need only to wait

PS The band tells on facebook that in the coming weeks the song will be avalaible on iTunes! Oh you can try to hear The Edge they will play the song again today...

I enjoyed that enough. It is mainstreamy, but, nice to finally hear some emotion from the old man, thats for sure. What it lacks for me is raines vocal technicality, but if this is a single, its gotta be catchy, repetitive, and accessible (singable by the masses), so, no surprises. There's more content coming, and it'll be interesting to hear how the rest of the content compares.

I'd liken it more to FTGF than AFAYK.

Very catchy... almost a little 80's, which i do like.

I listened to it on the air. Like what I heard. I like some up beat OLP. But I gotta listen to it a couple ten more times, if someone could help me there.

Ive been humming the chorus at work, it's catchy as hell.

I don't see any similarities to As Fast besides it being up beat.

Raine said they were interested in working with Elizando but ended up going with Bob Rock. He said about eight years ago in the interview, but that would be after the release of HIPT. Probably just a miscalculation. Either way, I wonder if it was a consideration pre or post Gravity.

I thought the song was nicely done-refreshing even. Don't put all of your hopes into it, but I think it's a nice change of pace/mood and a good addition to their catalogue.

Would like to give it a few more spins if anyone wants to share. Thank you.

I really like the emotion in Raines voice, and the chorus is catchy as hell, a little mainstream ish but I like the lyrics

Just heard the 3rd ever play on the radio! Definitely sounds like "start" not "stall" Josh...I'm digging it, but definitely need more listens! I also need to figure out how to make a fake Canadian I-tunes account

Yeah, it does sound more like "start" definitely, but I don't quite understand what that's supposed to mean.

To make a fake Canadian iTunes account -- unless things have changed since I did this years back, you first need a fake Canadian address (can be anything, I think I probably put the CHUMCity building). And then you need to get a Canadian iTunes giftcard in order to fund the account and make purchases, because you can't use a USA-issued credit card in a foreign iTunes store. You'll need a Canadian friend to get the giftcard, or if you'll be going up to see the band in BC soon, you can probably find a store that has them.
