Does anyone else think that "How to Kill a Man" and "Rising Tide" borrows elements from a couple of his older unreleased songs?

Yes!!!! But more from Hunter's Lullaby than older unreleased songs

I hear a little china doll, sex love and honey, and snake and the crown in both tracks, both in guitar and vocal melody

Also Drink Of You sounds alot like the theme to Dexter
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

I think"How to Kill a Man" grew out of the sketch that was (mis)titled "The More We Learn."

In the MontrealGazzette's interview there is something that he told about Naveed's 20th anniversary:
"Our Lady Peace-related responsibilities in the past few years have largely forced him to put aside his spoken word engagements, and even right before our conversation he received an email from his manager concerning plans to commemorate next year’s 20th anniversary of the band’s first release, Naveed.

“I think we’ll try to put something special together,” he says. “We’ll release it on vinyl, remaster the CD and maybe add some artwork and other things that didn’t make it the first time.”

Great!

EDIT: I waited the 00.00 AM here in Italy for buying WAGL...i think that i'm the first in the world that bought the album! hahahahah however now i can listen Numbers hahah...and listening to the lyrics i heard "science and technology" can be that this is an evolution of that song?

You can order from Amazon shortly after midnight. Looks like the mp3 version is only $6.97. You can also, order the physical copy from amazon.ca using your amazon.com account. Just be prepared to pay a higher shipping charge.

I just ordered mine off Google Play, per Stefano's suggestion. Same price as Amazon, but better quality. There are links and prices as of this morning on the news page.

The thing that i hate about digital download is the lack of lyrics! And is also too soon for getting them around the web!

Check your spam folder!!! Mine somehow ended up there even though my email didn't think that address was spam when they sent my receipt! Hope it's there!!
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Guys, all the songs are also on YouTube. Looks like Raine already uploaded the entire record. :)

Google Play Music is blocked in my country...Amazon is blocked in my country...Rdio is blocked in my country...this is very annoying. However, I've been able to listen to the whole album, and I'm very impressed. I like that he pulled back from the "electronic" direction we heard he was moving towards a few years ago (BMWAG for example). Somehow both mellow and passionate singing from Raine, which is exactly what I love from him. Now I just have to find a way to actually BUY the album, and i'm good!

Also, I'm sure many of you have seen this, but I haven't seen it posted yet in this forum and it's new to me :) Raine performing Montreal acoustic on The Edge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvMlyXUCQa8
And another one with a full band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxXZQ6usGy0

I can't tell how much I love this song. SOS, HTKAM and TIGH are my other favs, but Montreal is an instant Canadian classic, in my opinion.
