This is a little clip of Thief...then is on the setlist!

Now I can see why they didn't play it in London... seems really rough and the timing is off, must still be working on it.

I don't think it was rough.

Also, Raine must have pissed of the staff for sure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykyrPR7Y ... age#t=226s

Haha.

But I do hate when musicians tell the local staff to allow something and then they don't. In 2005 Raine told everyone to record Kiss on the Mouth and as soon as people pulled out their cameras security started going around taking them away from people!

Just out of curiosity, has OLP ever done a full band version of Thief live? I prefered how they played it at the Cornfest and in LA this past summer with Steve on electric. It's one of my fave songs but the acoustic version just isn't as good... is there something technically difficult about pulling off a full band version live?

They've done it full band... but maybe not since 2002 or 2003? Since then it's only been done a handful of times and has almost always been a stripped down version. Maybe the band feels that when they're playing a concert the subject matter of the song doesn't get lost so much to the music when it's stripped down to just voice and guitar? Or maybe they just haven't rehearsed it as a full band in a very long time. I agree with you though -- I do like the stripped down versions too but I'd really like to see Jeremy and Duncan join in on this song again.

Wasn't it done in Boston on the Burn Burn tour? I thought they did some of it mixed in another song. I can not really remember but I could of sworn it was done in the middle of In Repair or was it something else.

Anyone who has been to the first few shows remember what time the opening band came on and what time OLP came on? I assume late since these are over 19 shows at bars.
Thanks

So no one knows what songs were played in Montreal? Strange that it's not out there anywhere.

So with the corrected Montreal setlist, here are the stats after 5 shows:

100.00% 4AM
100.00% Allowance
100.00% As Fast As You Can
100.00% Clumsy
100.00% Find Our Way
100.00% Fire In The Henhouse
100.00% Heavyweight
100.00% Innocent
100.00% Is Anybody Home?
100.00% One Man Army
100.00% Paper Moon
100.00% Superman's Dead
80.00% All My Friends
60.00% Julia
60.00% The Birdman
40.00% Somewhere Out There
40.00% In Repair
40.00% Starseed
40.00% Thief
40.00% Angels/Losing/Sleep
20.00% Naveed

4 shows contained 16 songs, with Toronto being the only one with 17 (due to the 2nd encore). I wonder if they would do 2nd encores elsewhere if the crowd were good enough?
