Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
awwww.... love the acoustic version of Julia... who the hell would be talking during it? i wouldn't.. i hate when people have full blown conversations at a concert. ::shakeshead::
and if i don't make it know that i've loved you all along.

Having Naveed in the middle of In Repair does not work at all, in my opinion. Not the right feel to it.
Great recordings by the way!

Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
I was expecting it to sound a little more like Naveed, since the drum parts to both songs are already so similar... but Jer switched to a different pattern instead. I think they could play around with it more, incorporate more musically from Naveed, and it could be pretty cool but for now I'd say it's just ok.
Also I think half the fun when they do this sort of medley is the surprise, so us listening to it online knowing that we're going to hear In Repair/Naveed when we click play is a totally different experience to being at the show and thinking you're just going to hear In Repair. So even when it's not musical brilliance, I like when they do it.

My guess is Paper Moon and 4am again. Awesome that All My Friends is in the set...
Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
Listening through the concert recordings right now. For the most part these are some of the best performances I've heard from 'em!! But I still really really REALLY hate the way Raine sings One Man Army now haha, the chorus in particular always sounds so awful in my opinion. But the rest so far sound real decent! I really liked In Repair.

^ see that's 3 people who agree with me about OMA already.... trustworthy or someone please tell him to sing it right again. there's no getting around it, the live chorus is awful, like a horrible mutation that has evolved.

Good idea, you tell him! I wouldn't mind if they switched that song out and didn't play it every night -- they didn't play it a single time in 2005 and I don't think it was missed too much.

Yep, Jon (PeaceEleven) was there. I think the setlist posted above was accurate (Paper Moon and 4am at the end). So compared to the night before, the first 2 and last 2 songs of the main set were the same, encores the same, but the bulk of the main set was rearranged and they played All My Friends, Somewhere Out There, and Starseed instead of In Repair, Angels/Losing/Sleep, and The Birdman.

I also went last night. Fantastic show. I've seen OLP 3 times, and this was by far the greatest I've seen them. Things that stood out was the Acoustic Version of Julia, How great his falsetto was still while he sang "All My Friends" and how awesome the new album sounded. I've been holding on until Tuesday to listen to it, so that was the first time I heard those songs (Besides the 30 second previews).

I found the setlist:
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/our-lady- ... e1da4.html
They played another time All My Friends, there are also Naveed and Thief.
I don't know if this setlist is right but the other two before(Ottawa and London) are rights..

Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
Here are the stats on the songs so far:
100% 4AM
100% Allowance
100% As Fast As You Can
100% Clumsy
100% Find Our Way
100% Fire In The Henhouse
100% Heavyweight
100% Innocent
100% Is Anybody Home?
100% One Man Army
100% Paper Moon
100% Superman's Dead
67% Julia
67% All My Friends
67% Somewhere Out There
33% Angels/Losing/Sleep
33% In Repair
33% Starseed
33% The Birdman
33% Thief
33% Naveed
So it looks like they have 12 songs they are playing, and then alternating the other 6. This could change, but I`d bet it stays fairly consistent (with a few more songs added in along the way). I hope they add a song or two to the length of the shows though, as all 3 shows have been 16 song.

Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
I think those numbers aren't too bad considering 5 of the 12 are new songs and definitely should be played every night. I'm a little optimistic that as they get more songs worked out and ready to perform, they might start changing things up a little more and the list of songs played at every show will shrink a little bit. My reasoning being that while they've played those songs every night, they have switched up the order quite a bit, and the Ottawa show had Is Anybody Home in two places on the setlist -- I get the impression that they're picking a large chunk of the setlist from scratch each night, but maybe they're still getting the feel for things in these first few shows.
I do hope they add 1 or 2 more songs lengthwise too, it will give them more space to play different new songs or older "deep cuts" without cutting out Innocent or Clumsy.

Disappointed that Rabbits appears to be one they aren't playing, I think it would be epic live.
Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
duncan told me that they had a pool of 35 or 40 songs they were pulling from. That doesn't mean they will all get played. I'd say as the tour progresses we'll hear some variations. I also hope the length of the sets increases too, but I'll be happy with quality over quantity.
