New Album in 2012 - "Curve" April 3rd

It's really odd, listening to that clip of Window Seat with my headphones on but... Raine's vocals sound a lot different in this than on the rest of the clips so far. They almost sound a lot to me like his vocals on some of the older albums in terms of the tone of his voice. I have no clue if its just because I'm listening to it through these headphones or not since I never really heard it like this through the speakers. Either way I am really really excited for this track.

very interesting stuff... i agree with others this record is definitely starting to paint a picture of itself now. definitely leaps and bounds better than burn burn, but i'm not so sure about any of the previous albums.

Every time I listen to window seat, I hear another layer of something I hadn't noticed before. With Gravity and to an smaller extent the following albums, the guys were really excited about getting a "live off the floor" feeling in the recording. On Curve you can tell that they've gone back to the depth and overdubbing that we heard on SM and Happiness. So though the music is definitely very different from those albums, the process is the same, and that's something I always enjoyed from the guys. There's some really artistic integrity happening now, it makes the songs much more interesting, and I think that's a great thing.

Window Seat is just incredible. This record is really shaping up to be something special. The songs just have so much more substance than HIPT or BB. I really love those albums, but this is the OLP that I grew up knowing... not afraid to take some risks.

I wonder if the title and lyrics "we fall asleep like passengers in window seats" is in any way based on the lyric "alone on an aeroplane, fall asleep against the window pane" from Radiohead's "The Bends"? Hmmm

Sorry, I haven't heard the Soundcloud clip. Chorus ends with "Deep inside our bones."
