“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Any word on the Heavyweight video yet? I'm pretty stoked to see it and start sharing it with some friends (I assume it will be sharable on Youtube or some such site).

Yeah, so the official music video....uhm...It was...well... What was the one from Burn Burn where they are running from whoever and I through my laptop in to a lake? At least that had stuff going on. This just reminds me of the time I worked in Detroit in abandoned houses, except I didn't get paid to watch this.

Re: NEW SINGLE Heavyweight
I liked the video - a heck of a lot better than The End Is Where We Begin's video, although I liked seeing the band actually play the song.
Maybe would've been quite nice to have them playing/singing as opposed to just standing there? The bit with Raine leading into the solo had him with his mouth open, which linked in a bit nicer imo, but that's very minor.
Reminded me a bit of the White Stripes' Blue Orchid video. Definitely made me think back to the Spiritual Machines videos.
Really liked it!
Except for the bit of text at the beginning. But that's 'cause I go to an art uni and the tutors have a go at us for poor typeface choices.... and it didn't add anything to the video. I would've guessed that the house belonged to an old boxer because of the memorabilia we kept seeing. Would've guessed it had youths with Christian values because of the boy, and the hands carrying the cross. I didn't need to be told that. Also, the thing I like about Heavyweight is that it has a punchy beginning, having the video go on for a little bit before the song start changed the mood for me.
Good stuff! I hope it's a sign of what's to come for the artwork

You're right! It reminds Spiritual Machines' videos! The video is good...not amazing but good and it's better than BB's videos

Re: NEW SINGLE Heavyweight
Very artistic video, definitely SM vibes going on there... though I'm quite disappointed that they didn't show Raine singing at all, or the band performing. Is this their first video to actually show the band members but not show them singing/performing?
Also, loved "Demon Raine"
