Very strange that Wolf didn't make the cut, and a shame. Best song in years from OLP, and it rocked live.

not strange, it was never done - now it is and is called "Fire in the Hen House" and has a totally different vibe...and the guys dig it, so that's good enough for me!

wolf was simply a demo for fire in the hen house....a great demo, but yeah things change

Just read on OLP.com site CURVE comes out April 17th in USA

Does that mean since I live here my pre-order won't go out before then?

Instead of preordering the album I'm thinking of waiting and getting it at a show. OLP gets a bigger cut of the money from merch booth sales anyway right?

Hope there's some other heavier songs outside of Heavyweight on here now.

No Warnings on the tracklisting is disappointing.

Come on guys we need to wait! Usually the singles represent the album then if the band choice Heavyweight there will be a reason...Raine told that is the safest song on the album! Also me when i heard FITHH clip for the first time i get a little bit bothered but after a few listen i think "I need to wait"...like Trusty told the album is not with one song but with ten! Keep calm and wait!

I remember Raine saying that Heavyweight was "the safest track on the album" or something like that? So I'm pretty excited to hear the whole thing.

I feel the same as Todd. I'm not worried about the CD as I think from what we've heard it will blow Burn Burn or Healthy out of the water. I too wish the song had simply been scrapped, because it's now almost like Not Afraid, where I can't appreciate the final version because of how much more awesome the previous live versions were before they were toned down. I think this song will be the same way. At least if it had been removed entirely then we might have had a chance of seeing a demo release since Trusty has mentioned the band has been thinking about that. I think The Wolf had the best chorus they'd come up with in a decade, especially when it included the "gave him my blood but he wants more" line. Hopefully the official line of reasoning isn't something like "we already had one heavy rocker so we wanted some diversity." Matthew Good gave that reason recently when he cut a really epic song, as he felt another epic song was a little more epic-er. But to me, the more the better. I'm not presuming that was any sort of reason, by the way! I'm just saying I hope it wasn't. I don't feel any ownership of the music as a fan, but I'm just sad we lost a great song for something a little more blander (at least the 30 seconds we've heard, obviously I can't judge the whole song until it's released).

couldn't agree more Todd. THis song is different for sure and I would like to hear the whole thing. However, I admit that the Wolf was an awesome song and its frustrating personally as a fan to see them produce a song that turned a lot of fans heard back in their direction and then change it at the last minute and make it less energetic and frankly, less involving. Hoping that a few of the other tracks are killers like "Rabbits"

Don't forget, there were similar reactions with the 30 sec clip of Heavyweight, but after hearing the whole song as a completed piece, most of us were very impressed. Personally I don't mind the vocal change from Wolf to FITHH, because my favorite part of that song was the funky riff, which seems to be more or less unchanged.

difference being that Heavyweight received mostly positive feedback and Henhouse is getting less than stellar reviews. The Wolf was really well liked and I considered a can't miss song......now its dead and some filler has taken its place. Not sure what the heck they were thinking.

I don't completely disagree with you guys, I thought that Wolf was stellar too. I just mean to say that despite the changes, we can still expect a quality song here.
