I think that Fire in the Hen House has a very different energy than The Wolf did, and could be quite good. Too early to say with only 30 seconds though.

Finally the CM is come back! I missed you!! however for the clip question...it's clear that the new Fire In The Hen House isn't the heavy rock song that was The Wolf, and if i would express an opinion based only on the 30 seconds i will tell that The Wolf it's better...but for a definitive judgment i will wait the whole song! However i think that in the clip Raine's voice is a little bit close to his old style not equal but close ...i wish that the Steve's sick bridge will be also on this version!

As for Fire in the Henhouse... hoping that's not representative of the final product of the song. Energy sounds completely drained from it.

I admit my first listen of "Fire in the Henhouse" was one of disappointment. It seems artistic but bland. THe original demo with Raine singing "don't leave me waiting.....and I DON'T BELONG" was friggin amazing. I'm almost dumbfounded at why they would change the one song that fucking rocked to begin with. I've been praying they would just leave it be after playing it live (it sounded great!) but then I hear they are changing it. Now we hear this and it has me really concerned. Wish someone would tell me the rest of the song has some life to it.

FITHH is not Wolf - it's a new song - sure it borrows elements from wolf, but it took on a whole new vibe, personally I like it and it deff fits with the record much better than wolf would of.

Do I still like wolf? fuck yeah its a great song too - but the album is not just about one song, it's an album and I gotta say its nice to finally listen to entire record front to back again...this thing has been on repeat for the last couple days and I gotta say with every listen it grows on me more and more - in my opinion it is brilliant, I am hearing things I have not heard in music in a VERY long time....so long that on first listen some of it was foreign to my ears - once you drop any pre-conceived notions or expectations you have formed based on some demo clips and a couple live performances and just listen, well yeah, if you arent pleasantly surprised and even fucking floored by the things happening on this record then there is a very good chance you might be dead

So I suppose that means FITHH doesn't have that kick-ass energetic "don't leave me waiting" Wolf chorus? I really hope what we hear in the clip isn't the entire chorus.

Not saying I won't enjoy Fire in the Henhouse... but damn. Shame we won't get to hear a CDQ of The Wolf. Loved that chorus.
