Maybe they don't fit with the band's vision for the album, and that's fine. But I also have my fingers crossed for Warnings and Grocery List turning up somehow, they're two of my favorites from everything we've heard. I also really liked the "when it all comes crashing down" track. That song was heading in a direction that OLP hasn't really explored (at that we have heard) since Happiness. Maybe there's the tiniest chance that one could possible be Mettle.

I hope they aren't just buried though, and even if no studio recording is on the way they could still play them live like Trapeze or Our Time Is Fading were played after they had been abandoned in the studio.

Interesting. Digipak again? Would be more interesting if that dimension were closer to 12.375! ;)

Seconded. That's my favorite from the short clips posted. I hope the completed version of that gets out eventually.

Honestly I'd much rather the unidentified songs be something we've never heard before... I want at least a tiny bit of element of surprise to the album.

Boo. Just realized that grocery list wasn't on there! That song sounded so good. Please tell us they're going to release it for purchase on its own, trusty

I'm so so so sad about moth. That had an old school OLP feeling. Warnings too. B sides, B sides, B sides.

I'm stoked. Almost a month away!
and if i don't make it know that i've loved you all along.

I'm down to the point now where I don't want to hear or see much else until I hear it in concert or hold the album in my hands. I want my first reaction to it all to be based on the work as a whole, and not off of internet streams.

Yeah, I'm pretty much with you, Matt. I loved the lead-up to Burn Burn and I'm forever grateful to the work Trusty and them put into making that a great experience, but having heard bits of all the songs beforehand did lessen the impact of the final, released album for me, since there weren't really any huge surprises in terms of what the songs would sound like.

Look at how long that sentence is! It's so long! Someone should edit that thing!
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,

I hear what you guys are saying, but I'd be cool if they would just preview some songs of ones we've already heard a bit from like the wolf, and others and have the rest stay a mystery about them except maybe
a blurb about the song and some graphics or something....but saying that, I am dying to hear another song or a preview lol

Speaking of previews... what's with that clip on the front page of the CM, titled "03"? It's obviously The Wolf but the vocals sound different than any live version I've heard before, I wonder if this is a clip of the finished studio recording?

I'm guessing we'll be finding out soon ;) 03 = third month = March.

Looks like the CM will be getting a face-lift... :)

Definitely not the final version of 'Wolf' as Steve tweeted about some changes that were happening to the track on the same day the video was posted to the CM.
