Ok everyone. I could use some input from anyone willing to give me their 2 cents:

Let's say your girlfriend of over 5 and a half years one day says "me and my girlfriends are taking of to Vegas in a couple weeks for 4 days". And this is shortly after discussing the idea of one day going there together in the next year or so.

What would your reaction be as the boyfriend?

Just ask if she still wants to go to Vegas with you sometime in the next year like you had been talking about. If so, then tell her to have a fun trip, and scout out some cool places for you guys to go to when you get the chance. No need in getting pissy about it. Yeah it sucks, but let her go have some fun. She'll know you trust her and love her enough to go have some fun with her girls. In the mean time, save a roll of singles and hit the strip club.

i like the strip club idea....except i already told her i wasnt happy about the trip...so i kinda screwed up already...but its not that i dont want her to go and I have no right to tell her not to, its just that i get this uncomfortable feeling in my gut....the hangover says it all...i trust her, i dont trust vegas

She'll be fine. Tell her you're bummed you aren't going with her this time, but to enjoy herself anyways and tell you all about it when she comes back. If she screws up remember there's always
