I have to say, I prefer 'The Wolf' over 'Fire in the Henhouse'

Wait so the cover is the one with the young guy punching toward the camera?

I prefer the other image they used greatly. And the font too. It's like they used all the good stuff for the website and then hired a teenager to make a power point slide for the cover.

Also yeah, The Wolf is a better title, but Henhouse isn't horrible.

It's not really the graphic designer who chooses, it's what OLP wanted, not who they hired.

I've made a few things that I thought someone would love, but they ended up choosing the one I never would have assumed they would have liked.

I'd dig it shortened to "Henhouse" but it's just a title, so, oh well.

simple & clean...different.

some people on facebook are being a bit harsh, they are saying it looks more like a new cologne than a new album

in some people's defense, i didnt notice the boxing glove at all until someone mentioned it. Without seeing the glove it's even more uh...odd looking.

The thing I hate with social networking of large groups in one place, ie OLPs Facebook page or the YouTube comment section, is that most people act barbaric and it makes me less sympathetic for the human race.

^I saw that as well. A little strange. I gotta assume that's incorrect and basically means that you'll get a digital download as a bonus or something.

I don't think I'm being silly. I just prefer the grittier look that's been used so far. I also think the glove isn't noticeable so it looks like a guy standing there.

It's not necessarily a bad album cover, it's just not great, where simply using the previous pictures/fonts would have made it stand out.

The cover doesn't even matter, anyway.

I'd like a confirmation on a track listing. Either the number of tracks on the album or obvious the entire list. I need something to anticipate down the home stretch.

Raine says "9 or 10 tracks" in this interview, from just a few days ago. Not concrete info obviously, but fair to assume there won't be more than 10.

Maybe the bonus track is the heavyweight music video? or maybe they mean you get heavyweight as an immeadiate download when you buy the tickets with the bundle? hmm,...

EDIT: "Heavyweight" as a bonus track means you automatically get the mp3 when you buy the tickets. That's all. And that interview is really promising for some reason. The energy Raine has for Curve is great, and the specific direction like Spiritual Machines had, is really optimistic.

Regardless of what it sounds like, I think this is going to be a very very well done work of music.

Wow that is the official cover. I am not a fan at all. Creepy face guy with a hairy chest. WTF. It's not really my cup of tea.

That being said, it really doesnt matter in the end and I cant wait to hear the actual record.

Let's just be honest here people. It's something everyone wants to say, but are holding back too much because they don't want to hurt Trusty's feelings.

(Takes deep breathe)

OLP originally wanted me on the cover with a big lollypop and propeller hat running up and down a movie theater aisle. I told them a resounding no because I wanted a bigger lolly in the photo. Raine turned to the photographer and called me a "Diva."

Things fell apart after that. Trust and I remain friends, but Raine and I? I'm afraid it turned ROCKY and quite saddening on both our parts. He deleted me off of Facebook and won't let me view his wall.

I know, I know (Stay strong, Jeff, Stay strong!). This cover is quite a knockout to my heart. I feel like I could hear the count to 10. But, I'll get back up, and make it to Mike Tyson at the end...but that fucking Piston Honda.
