So, someone in my building who was always up in my office flirting with anything that moved apparently tried to kill his wife yesterday and is now in jail. Nice to know I've been working with a crazy person.

I work as a GIS Analyst / Consultant with Esri Canada. Essentially, I work with maps and spatial data on computers. A cookie goes out to the first person who can tell me what GIS means...

Nice!!! Geographic Information Systems (or Geographic Information Sciences). In any manner, it's an up and coming field so anyone who is interested in maps and enjoys working with computers should check it out...

I still scan books page-by-page on a flatbed scanner.

I met my new manager today. She seems like a nice person. My team's responsibilities are being changed and I have absolutely no interest in this crap.
Hope it's just talk like most things around here.
