I've noticed that the ET Canada New Years special has popped up on various torrent websites. Not that I personally condone downloading this material, some people may want to be informed about this :)

And to think, if my phone hadn't been dead, I would've been on the receiving end of that phone call. That moment is worthy of an Oskar nomination next year!

Here's my pic set from NYE. Sorry Trusty...not too many champagne spraying pics. I was too busy kissing broads at midnight...

Hey TW, I just scrubbed through the end of the encode of the broadcast I got a hold of. They don't show any OLP spraying the champagne unfortunately.

I noticed the version on torrent sites has mp3-encoded audio -- I'm going to see is I can extract that stream without reencoding it as it's probably higher quality than the youtube one.

I was wondering if they showed it at all. I don't wanna ruin the magic but they set off fireworks and taped the Happy New Year part at 845. I thought they'd show at least of few seconds of everyone on stage with the champagne singing aude langsigne. It's silly they didn't.

Really liking all this. I have to tell yah, I became depressed after hearing some of Raines newer live performances. With his voice change, i had heard a lot of really... unfortunate performances on youtube. but it sounds like he's really gotten used to it, and you can really hear solid control of his voice in these songs. Thanks for posting. This just bumps up my excitement for album 8 even more :)

They did show them on stage singing Auld Lang Signe...but not much footage of the spraying of champagne, you might of caught a second or two of it as the camera scrolled by.

Speaking of the Oskars...did we even vote this year? I know nominations went up...I was so hoping to win something, anything at all, this year, ha. :(
