I hope it is only month or 2 before they release the album after the single. If the single does well the album should drop sooner rather than later before the radio ruins it by overplaying it lol

I think two months is a bit too long. I sorta felt that way with burn burn.

One month is good, especially if there's little tidbits of information released continuously throughout this time

I really don't care how long it takes to come out, to a certain extent of course. As long as the album is good.

And I call royalties on the title "in trusty we trust".

I bet they will... might come a week or two later though? That's how it worked with Bury Me with a Gun. I agree with your iTunes sentiment. Not great quality, not future proof. But also not important as long as it comes out on CD later. I say the band should sign up on bandcamp.com and sell it there though! That place feels a little more personal, a little more DIY than iTunes, and the buyer can pick whatever high or low quality file format they want their music to come in.

“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

I'm pretty sure it was me claiming royalties over his proposed cd title.

I just wish you could purchase through their website. I hate that whenever i want to buy something from them i have to install their software

I agree. iTunes is the place to be. If there are other download sources it should be in addition to iTunes.

And even though you have to download their software, I personally love it just because of the sheer catalogue they have which includes artists that would normally be really hard to find. I like that I can easily buy and support a lot of indie and stuff from around the world that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise.

lol fully agree...but if you wanna sell your music and you want to sell it online and reach the most people possible - itunes is where it is at.

nothing else comes close - and yeah selling it direct from the site is a cool idea and maybe something that can be looked into a bit more a little further down the road.

So trusty, will this album have a title by the time the single is released?

or is it gonna be "check out OLP's new single Heaveyweight from their forthcoming album #OLP8"

haha...that should actually be the title...the hashtag!!!!
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?
