For me Time Bomb it's better than AYD...then Time Bomb and AYD are almost the same for the band?

I hope we get a holiday greeting video this year. I don't think there was one last year. Wasn't the last one 2009? It'd be nice if ALL of them were part of it this time too. :D
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

hehe that was that song they made and then realized they already made it (all you did)

Yeah, those two were way too similar. Thats another reason I don't like that song.

I saw the list that Josh posted (which is really awesome) but had trouble locating this one. I dig it.

No! no monkeyyeti.... unless it's the only way I get my holiday greeting... I'm not fond of that creepy thing but I'll make due. I'm not picky!

Oh and also If This Is It. Amazing stuff. Rabbits sounded good too, from what I remember.

That's a version of "The Wolf."

I need to get the Warnings and Heavyweight clips added in there. For some reason slacktoo's Warnings video wouldn't embed correctly. I didn't put the Window Seat soundcheck in there since all the other clips are from the studio. I did try to transcribe the lyrics from it though. ;)

So maybe I'm oblivious, but is that linked from the main site. As in, if I'm on the home page, where would I find a link to that page. Or has that not been done yet?

When the leak happened Trusty said the single should be out in a couple of weeks, so I really hope that means before Christmas.

I think that the single will be out before the New Year show in Niagara Falls...in this way the show will be a good opportunity to promote the single....according to Raine Twitter the show will have a 30 minutes setlist...then i think that we will have only Heavyweight from Album 8

I'm hoping they get the single out before Christmas and before 2012 at the very least. I don't mind not having a holiday greeting as the single release would cover that need for OLP!

Can I just add that anybody who goes to the NYE bash, can you record the hell out of their set. From what you guys have said, Heavyweight will be pretty interesting live.

I wish also that after Heavyweight release we can say the release date of the album...like when they release AYD...however if we make an overview of the lyrics in the OLP #8 page i think that we can say that the cryptic lyrics are back!!!

Tinman wrote:I take it steve will be singing the falsetto octaves over the chorus? I haven't really heard him sing much. I know mike used to do the backups for raine, but mike was never great at it... just kinda did it because he had to I guess.

I also recall on the live dvd that Duncan sang backup on something... but I couldn't really make him out over Raine. How's Steve's voice?

I'm late here but everyone but Jeremy sings live. Quite a bit too.

I prefer harmonies to the "mob vocals" that were used a lot on HIPT -- but live the mob vocals were pretty cool. Even Joel sang on some of the choruses:
