Some of the bickering was why I started to drift away from the board when I was really young, plus my interest in OLP had decreased

But im liking the CM and OLP now, good place!

Not only the band but even other members of the board. It was kind of sad/pathetic..

The vibe is definitely good now though over here.

I agree. I like it around here now! I do miss Nikki though... she pretty much fell off the face of the earth. I don't ever see her on FB either.

I think I joined just when she left, so I didn't really get to know her much. Most of the people I liked around here appear to still be active, which is great.

Hopefully Nikki will make a reappearance though

Where there be forums, thar be trolls. I've yet to find one that exists outside of this rule

Was the bickering about the change in the band? Or just people picking fights for the sake of fighting

Clearly trusty and I arguing got blown out of proportion. I apoligize for taking it too far. But my point about scaling back the over-hyping and teasing still stands.

Unfortunately I hold grudges, and I'm still mad over his treatment of me and a few others last tour when shows were cancelled when he said they wouldn't be, and I relied on his word to book off work time, etc. I guess I just generally don't like when people imply or say things that they can't back up later.

Ha, can't believe I missed this. Oops. Well, my appetite is whetted, at least.

As for the old CMers: I miss every single one of those guys :( it was a lovely community (and still is--just different, obviously).

Does the band usually hit the states when they tour? I really hope so... And if so, i hope they go through the mid west. A lot of bands avoid STL like the plague, but if they cut through the midwest they tend to hit either St. Louis or Kansas City MO... anyone know if this is the case with OLP?

Tinman, you're from STL? God bless ya.

I'm in LA now, but I grew up in STL. OLP went through there back when they were promoting HIPT. Since they're no longer backed by Sony, though, I wonder if they'll be able to do such a big tour--I'd imagine not. But I hope I'm wrong!

I went to there show in St. Louis two years ago for the Burn Burn tour. I imagine they'll hit it again. Didnt they have like double the tour dates in the US than Canada for BB?

Yes, the tour is the US was super long. They did Columbus, St. Louis, and Kansas City.

I take it steve will be singing the falsetto octaves over the chorus? I haven't really heard him sing much. I know mike used to do the backups for raine, but mike was never great at it... just kinda did it because he had to I guess.

I also recall on the live dvd that Duncan sang backup on something... but I couldn't really make him out over Raine. How's Steve's voice?
