I'm pretty sure I'm listening to the right network (www.cfox.com), and I've been listening since 4:20 PST, and no sign of anything yet. Are we sure this is happening?

Bree and I are pretty sure not until 5. Which is right about now. We'll see.

EDIT: 5:30 and I'm starting to not think it's happening.

I think it's a Corus Radio scam in order to increase their ratings. BTW: anybody know what the format is of this station? Hearing some random stuff going on.

I'm listening for 15 more minutes and then I'm off.

I do hope someone catches it if he does show up, but I sincerely doubt he will.

I wonder who actually confirmed this. According to Chantal's tweets they flew to Vancouver today and are coming back tomorrow. They are there for a fundraising banquet. That doesn't really leave a lot of time for anything else... Although I could have sworn Raine mentioned an Occupy Rally in Vancouver this weekend. Maybe he's staying longer and dates got confused? I find it hard to believe he would just not show up for something. hmmm....

I am surprised this did not happen. I listen to the Fox all the time...can get it occasionally on the radio down here in Washington, but also online and on my phone. They are a very OLP friendly station and always do something with them when the band is in town. I listened until 5pm myself....wondering what happened...

I never saw Fox mention Raine at all anywhere. So, whoever at Coalition and the OLP Twitter page got some misinformation, IMO.

New video up, OLP recording song "Home Again"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... ILoK_NErTI

Really digging the song, has a very natural flow to it... I hope Raine goes for more of an atmospheric falsetto with his voice though.

I didn't hear any falsetto?

I really like the sound of the song. The guitar distortion is great.

Yeah, sorry if I was unclear, I just meant I hope he changes it to falsetto vocals because I think that'd work better with this song.

It's just depressing that Raine completely forgets how to sing. I mean, did anyone else hear that? It's like he's yawning in vowels.

Yeah... it sounded like he was trying to do a weird harmoney that ended up just being off key.

It was production phase though. I'd be shocked if the final version sounds that off.

Well when the camera is panning Jeremy's body at the end (creepy?) you can hear what sounds like a more polished, produced version of the chorus with vocal harmonies. I gotta say I don't dig the way they've been using harmonies lately, it weakens the songs.

I remember early on they had some harmonies in the chorus for The Wolf but removed them, and the song is much better without.

Pretty sure that was a rough vocal, and not a final version.

The song itself sounds great, but his vocals are a bit iffy and cringe worthy at spots. He just needs to let go, its like he is straining to sound a certain way and it just doesn't fit.

Those aren't the final vocals. I don't see how some of you still don't get that. We've talked about and seen the recording process a million times. Build the song with scratch vocals, go back and do final vocals later. :wall:
