Every OLP fan should check this band out (if you haven't already)... There's no doubt in my mind that they will become the next biggest Alt-Rock band in Canada in the next couple of years (right up there with OLP).

I was lucky enough to get a copy of their unbelievable indie CD "Synthetic" a year ago (which is VERY rare) and I have been a diehard LP fan ever since.
They recently finished touring with Big Wreck and were recieved exceptionally well (some Big Wreck fans even enjoyed Left Pencey more than Big Wreck!!).
Word from the band is that they have just finished recording their debut release (recorded at Morningview Studios) which should be available to the public sometime in the fall.

If anyone wants to hear some of their songs (I have all of them from 'Synthetic' plus a bunch of unreleased ones), get back to me and I'll send em your way. On ICQ, I'm either 'Rigger' (when I'm home in Ontario) or 'RiggerNYC' (when I'm at university in NYC)

Are they anything related to Catcher in the Rye? Holden "left Pencey" in the novel.

Superrgirll: Which email did you use? I sent my emails directly to Brad (lead singer) and he got back to me in a flash and hooked me up with the disc; he's a really nice/cool guy... maybe by the time you sent an email they were not selling it anymore, but who knows. If you still want it I can send you the songs.
