wow, "this is it" is their longest song since gravity!! And it's also shaping up to be one of my favorites since that album! amazing solo by steve, lovely falsetto by raine and the way he sings the "slowly" part is very haunting, great vocal echo effect, and it really does kinda remind me of "are you sad" and "4am" like raine said on his twitter! as toddowney said, great replay value.

i am really loving the dedication the boys are putting in this album, and if they tone down the prominent "backup vocals" i'd have no complaints!

Song actually reminds me of Refuge more than anything.

This is It > Refuge

Same link as Flynn but hyperlinked so you can click. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQlqJkvvjIY

Song is sounding rough. I like the idea of it, but sounds to be in really early stages.

Just got home, will try to record again. We'll see if my dick software decides to be generous again today. Will also be depending on neighbor's WiFi because mine's down.

I wonder if they'll be playing that new song we've seen in the last 2 .NET Youtube clips? Not sure what to think of that one yet... I wonder if the "who's gonna be there when it all comes crashing down" is the chorus?

So they're still working on The Wolf huh... now it sounds completely different again, more instrumentals and they'v apparently removed the backup vocals.

Don't understand what they don't like about the chorus.

But I will say, these technical problems are bugging the shit out of me. Is it like this every time? This is my first time watching live.

i wonder if we're going to see any complexity from jeremy's drumming at all in this album. maybe it's because of the song structures, but it seems that every song tries to force the melody into the same mid-tempo beat. there needs to be fast songs and slow songs. also, the way they keep changing "the wolf", it now seems a lot more conformed, ballady and generic than initially.

Are we even listening to the same song?

well the fact is, earlier in the broadcast the tempo was slower than it is now, as we speak. it seems as if they've sped up the tape. it helps the song a lot. as for sounding more generic and ballady, i guess i'd say it sounds like its lost a bit of its raw edge from earlier on and sounds more polished and radio-friendly. just an observation.

but the way they keep changing it, even as we speak, it's hard to analyze anything about it right now.

This is it is pretty awesome imo, The Wolf is to but the very first version of the song they played was the best version, they are over killing it now.
