That's an odd choice for a song title

"@StephBraganza all over it. chrs on "Tale from a grocery list' is entirely falsetto."

Yes! Falsetto! But yea.. I'm worried about the lyrical content judging by the title haha. I'm sure it'll be good though

This song title seems to definitely be influenced by The Story of 100 Aisles. I think it strives to be a "creative weird" title like that one is. Very interesting development, really cool that he's using the falsetto in the chorus for this song though. :) But he only said the chorus, so I assume it's something like Paper Moon, with the verses sung in normal baritone vocals.

Are we sure that Tales from a Grocery List will be the final title though? Nothing to suggest it will be, could just be an experimental temporary thing.

OMG guys! I found the leaked lyrics:

I've got the peppers. I've got onions, and I'm getting garlic now
Because it makes better chili
Superrrrrrr market yeah, At the superrrrrrr market yeah

I'm getting
Whiieeeiiieeeeeeeiite, yeah, sesame bread
Whiieeeiiieeeeeeeiite, yeah, or wheat instead?
Don't worry about it because with lettuce
And tomato and pickles it'll be great.

Doesn't anybody ever know
Doesn't anybody ever know
How to make a subway, subway SANDWICH!?!

Butter, I remembered butter
I remembered milk
And shrimp for the Bar-B
I got the coffee
I believe its decaf
I don't want to forget the creamer
Or the sugar packs

Oh, rice is waiting for you
It's all mixed up for the stir fryeeeee
Oh, rice is waiting for you
It's all mixed up just how you like

I got peas, I got corn
I got chicken by the pound
Twice as much, just this week
With my coupon!

I don't know about you guys, but it sounds like they are really going back to their roots.

Falsetto gives me butterflies.

and I wouldn't let the title lead you to any conclusions about the content of the song. This is Raine we're talking about. I'm sure it's not a song about his latest trip to Trader Joe's. Maybe this is a glimpse into the old cryptic Raine.

besides.. that title could change 3 times before the album comes out. Where is Locobone? I was talking with him about this last night and he had several comical options for alternate song titles. Tom? Care to add something?

Amazing stuff, the name of the song excites me, I agree with clumsygirl it does sound like its going to be old school cryptic raine, and falsetto! That's just fucking awesome, doubt its like paper moon with just a hint of falsetto in it, she said chrs is entirely falsetto

. . .and thanks trusty that sounds like a good effin deal lol

Well, I often think my grocery list would make for some really great song lyrics! It would be so cryptic it would blow your minds!

Anyhoo, glad to hear some buzz about the album, even if when it comes out we'll all be going "what happened to the grocery list song?"

That's probably true! We should know better by now.
