That'd actually be pretty interesting.

I know a lot of you are following him on Twitter so you may have read this already but I couldn't resist..

@MrRaineMaida : recording a very interesting, fresh sounding OLP song today. 4 songs in and this new record's already vying for general.

Yay!!
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Wait, does  mean drooling with excitement or boredom? Cause it looks asleep.

you're right... it kind of does. I was drooling over the prospect of "interesting" and "fresh" and also 4 songs. Wow. That's more than I thought they'd have at this point. I assume he means 4 basically complete songs that could be considered even if they don't make the album as opposed to fragments of songs. :D

I saw that this morning and it made my day. I'm so glad they are excited to be together making music.

I still think it would be awesome to have a cd with like one collaboration song, like OLP+ Neil Young or something, that would be pretty epic.

So like an OLP album where the closing track is a collaboration with a jazz drummer?

No a singer, I know we have had other musicians involved before, but adding someone else to the vocal side of a song would be awesome.

I don't think I'd like a collaborating vocalist, but its been cool to have Elvin Jones and Matt Cameron in the past.

You also have to remember... That wouldn't be four guys in a room.
