I just realized no one's ever really mentioned Billy around here. Raine produced her EP. She's an awesome and very talented musician! What's the deal peeps?

“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida
I recorded her doing a few songs while opening for OLP back in July. If anyone's familiar with her stuff and could help ID the songs and tell me the titles, let me know and I'll send the recording.

I had a hard time getting into her stuff, though I like the fact that she writes her songs from personal experience. I remember her solo acoustic stuff being very folksy. I think I have a home made CD I bought off her when she toured with Raine, and Jared Paul.

If you post the link to her webpage on Facebook/Twitter/MySpace whatever and then send her a message on FB with your email she will send you a rough mix of one of her new songs. It's a great song, I recommend you do it if you are interested!

she has several cd's
I think 2-3 with The Lost Boys and 2 of her own. When she opened for Raine in Canada she had some homemade cd's for a few dollars..

I can probably identify some of them!

1.
2. Won't Be the Same
3. Drown (cowritten by Raine)
4. The Drugs
5. Alison
6. The Accident
7. Under these City Lights
I have no idea what that first one is. It skips through the middle. Some of the songs are slightly different than they are now so I'd need to hear more to see if recognize it!

Thanks! That's all I have of the first song - I didn't record her entire set because I didn't know how long OLP would be playing and didn't want to run out of batteries.
