I don't like the timing or execution of the cymbal crescendo rolls in Clumsy, but mostly it is an interesting arrangement.

Trusty

Raine pretty much said the same thing as you about the cd. How it was a bit different and we will be amazed by it. I even said to him you said the same exact words

I'm telling.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Youtube search would have found it. By Locobone.

Maybe I'm an OLP purist or something, but I wasn't a big fan of Chantal's interpretation of the songs vocally.

Whoops...yeah, I posted it today and put the link for it back in my original post. I have a few more to upload when I can get to them and I'll put the links in the original post too.

Ha Ha.

I think Trusty is more Trusty then Raine.
But yeah if the songs we heard so far are any indication of the cd to come. :duncan:

Trusty. YOu might know the answer to this. In December Raine did a new song. Can't remember the title or really how it went. When he sang Not Done Yet on Sat he said he played the song a few times before. I am not 100% sure but is that the one he did in December. It sounded familar to me..

Yeah Glad Tom and Bree had working cameras to get Raine.
They did not say anything to people taking photos etc. Some people had the professional cameras and not some little digital..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

That song has some spunk. It isn't what I expected from solo Raine but there's no reason to do a second version of the Hunter's Lullaby. Musical growth and all that... Thumbs up.

Tom did and I've been on him about getting to it because I really wanna hear it again!

Since these are both already floating around out there I guess there's no harm in releasing them. I'm digging all of his new stuff so far. Can't wait for the new album.
