Sounds great, love the falsetto in the chorus (not sure if it's his voice though). Raine is definitely a busy man these days... I'm looking forward to this album!

I'm thinking it's Chantal doing backing vocals in the chorus.

Sounds fantastic (and yes I too think that's Chantal in the background of the chorus)...can't wait for to hear all of the new material.

The iTunes Canada release is worrisome. I'm sure these will be hubbed but I don't mind supporting artists I like with my dollars. Get these on the US iTunes too!

I hope the album releases in physical form. I hate iTunes.

As for the song, I really dig it, I look forward to the whole thing.

On topic of the chorus, I don't seem to hear a lot female in there, maybe a little but the majority is male falsetto. Not necessarily Raine, but male.

If you're saying that the songs will be released individually on iTunes over the coming months leading to an actual CD release, I'm happy to wait. If the whole thing is going to be digital-only I'd really like if it was at least available through a service like bandcamp.com that offers a better quality product and better service than iTunes.

As for the vocals, I'm pretty sure it is Chantal wherever there are backing vocals. But it is a little hard to tell with the stream quality, in some places it sounds less womanly than others -- I bet it would be clearer on a CD or in a WAV / FLAC file.... :lol:

Raines voice sounds amazing in the chorus part, sounds like his old school falsetto. (i know Im sorry for bringing up his voice lol).

I don't dislike the song (cant say much since its a snippet, but I'm not big on the verses. I don't like the snaps and the heavy distorted bass, but the chorus is AWESOME.

I also really like the background. Really hope that's the album cover.

2 things-
there should not even be any debate if it is Chantal or not. Since mostly recorded at his home studio and she has done background vocals and paino/keys on his past solo stuff..

Raine said in some past interview he was going to release a song a week online till actual cd came out. I am not surprised.

Vocally he sounds like someone else in this song. ( I had to relisten to it to get it)
Got it Vocally he reminds me of Dexter ( from Offspring in Come Out And Play) and Scott ( in Velvet Revolver days- Big Machine).

Which sadly so also deal with guns, and being buried.. IRONIC

I don't think people think it's anyone else but Chantel in the background if it is someone else, Just wondering if it's actually Raine doing both the falsetto and overlapping with his deeper voice.

Just the one song. I'd love to hear the whole thing too and I hope I get to at Jackson Triggs!!! I'll record if I can but it said no cameras on the confirmation. Boo... but there are ways around that! The song is awesome. I love that he's not afraid to try something completely different. :love:
