Why do I feel a DREAMLAND vs( insert song here) as Best OLP song in years.
I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again Teach the young people how to think, not what to think-Sidney Sugarman
that must of been one of the songs they said was done over and over..

Do you have a better copy of that version? I can rip the audio from the youtube clip, but it's pretty crappy quality. Or do you even have the original files? I can edit them so they match on an equalizer.

I can get you what I used, not sure the original clip was all that great, however.
I made it. Just combined the two songs. So it's not necessarily how it would have sounded but it's the best we've got.
Nice job on the edit. I've always been a fan of the unreleased version and I've made half-assed attempts at smooshing the two together before with less success. What program do you use for audio editing?

Dreamland is a song with a great potential....SOT is the single that scored a great international succes, i wish that Dreamland has the same potential but at this time can't beat SOT in international success...the time is changed....
The guys really fucked up, and I mean REALLY fucked up the flow of the music in Where Are You. Transitions between verses and choruses should be smooth and flowing. Even I liked the original. It's clunky and akward.

You mean like Yellow Submarine?
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida
Here is lead singer Raine Maida's description of the inspiration for the song: "Norman Rockwell paintings, while being weaved into "Americana" over the years have always seemed creepy to me. The irony is that 'Dreamland' is inspired by his style of painting. Escapism from present day woes right into one of his Rockwell lands. I guess part two to 'Dreamland' would have us sinking into the dogs playing poker painting... "
