American Idol Season 9

Anyone watching American Idol this year? This has been the first season which I've been watching the whole thing. I know how nerdy that sounds like, but I'm really enjoying the show.

I'm quite disappointed by the fact that some really talented people got voted off... but stilll, this season is pretty cool.

I'm really pissed that Lilly and Alex got voted off. With Alex, I think the girls couldn't handle the mullet, even though he was obviously one of the most seriously talented guys. AND Lilly? She's INCREDIBLE. So mad she left

I'm just getting disappointed in the people who vote, and in the show in general. Ellen is great but not on AI, and without Paula it's just not the same. Plus, the talent is nowhere near where it used to be. The most talented people have been voted off and now we're left with mediocre.

Yeah. Lilly is very talented. Based on what the judges had been saying about her, I was VERY surprised she got voted off. The same applies to Alex. He'd been getting better every week and the guy was AMAZINGLY talented. One of the bets voices this week... so I was really sad that he got voted off. That sucked. Plus, I felt so sorry for the kid... he was devastated.

I'm a huge Andrew Garcia fan. The guy has got a very nice voice, but he did so bad during these first few weeks that I thought it would be fair for him to go home. In that case I'd traded him for Alex. He deserved to be in the top 12.

Just watched the first Top12 performance.

Andrew is still disappointing, eventhough he improved this week. Siobhan is absolutely amazing and gorgeous (despite that awkware hairdue). Didi is pretty cool as well. And I like Lacey, I don't think she's as talented as the rest of the group, but she's cute and I like her... but I doubt she'll win.

My DVR refuses to record AI on Tuesdays for some reason. I'm about ready to beat it to death with a hammer and throw it off the roof. Yet again, I miss the performance night.

I'm about ready to just stop watching. Not even Ellen can save this season (and neither could Paula, even if she made a miraculous reappearance halfway through).

And yes, Kara has a bitchy face. She makes the "shit" face - she looks like someone took a smelly shit and she just can't take it. She makes me crazy. Plus she's all over Simon and openly mooning over that dude with the pony tail, which is just unprofessional and pathetic (considering she just got married).
