Dammit.

Were you there?

It's not like they're not going to be playing all of Clumsy and Spiritual Machines for 2 months of touring...

For a free show near the Olympics, I think it makes a lot of sense that they stick to more of the hits. I mean, the last time I saw them open an encore with The Wonderful Future over 80% of the crowd took a nap -- and that was at a small show they were headlining.

Agreed. There are a few more videos up on the tube. Mainly from the O-zone.

Yes, but Steve had said in an interview that they would be playing "non-singles from earlier albums" at this Whistler performance. That's why we expected it.

Exactly. I am going to have a throw on my snuggie, have a hard think, and a hot tea over this one.

Maybe Raine got nervous again? I seem to recall a CMer a few months ago saying they'd seen "Carnival" (or "Car Crash" cant remember) in a rehearsal session before a concert, but that it wasn't played at the actual concert. They met the band after the concert, and asked Raine why they didn't play it, and he said he was too nervous to sing it, or something along those lines.

Nice Hat.

That video was really nicely done too. Props. Loved the chanting at the end, chilling.

About the Olympic performances:

"Ted Townsend, spokesman for the City of Richmond, said Friday that the O Zone site was so full last night that the gates had to be closed at one point during a concert by Our Lady Peace.

"There was close to 20,000," he said, adding it wasn't as big as the 25,000 capacity crowd that gathered for the torch relay celebration."

You like it enough to give us a secret video of something? And I don't mean your sex tape with that gorilla.

That's gonna drive me crazy. One, it's probably jibberish, but two, I want it to be code for something awesome.
