Yep, its inevitable. Raine has changed his voice drastically and unless he pulls some magic he's gonna sing Big Dumb Rocket like Somewhere Out There.

Raine can still sing falsetto, but he certainly won't do it extensively for an hour straight. And of course the instrumentation on Spiritual Machines is going to be lway different. But that's going to be half the fun of seeing them play those albums at this particular point in time.

Heh, I'm more worried about how Raine will perform One Man Army in the second setlist after wearing himself out during Clumsy/Spiritual Machines... he has a hard enough time doing OMA @ regular concerts/

But on that note, I think SM and Clumsy will sound a whole lot more like their original Raine vocals than OMA does today in concerts... because OMA has been allowed to evolve over the years since it's been constantly played in concerts, while most songs from SM and Clumsy haven't..... I'm sure Raine hasn't listened to the OMA original recording in YEARS... whereas he has to listen to each original recording to relearn SM and Clumsy, so the vocals will be closer to original I think

I'm guess that he's hinting that the next album is rumored to be called "hi!"

... but I could be wrong.

I don't think we'll be getting any news about the new album until the clumsy/spiritual tour is well under way, because they are really trying to promote it.

Definitely screwing with us, since Steve updated his Twitter a few days ago saying they were trying to write new song ideas and learn the old ones.

But I really am hoping new material is roadtested during the tour.

Am I the only one that thinks Trustworthy is pulling everyone's chain or has he/she actually produced something that proved his/her relationship with the band?

Most people here know who he is by now, and he definitely is linked to the band.
